Does anyone here happen to know what the underside of the Seibon carbor fiber trunk looks like? Does it have the same OEM plastic interior panels bonded to it? I’m looking for any info at all on this as far as installation difficulty, wiring, transferring of the OEM electronics, etc. I can’t seem to find anything online or on youtube. Also if anyone has pictures of the underside that would be great!

Thank you.

No you would have to transfer everything over from your stock trunk. It's just the carbon on both sides. So pretty much everything attached to your stock trunk, you transfer over.

Let us know if we can help with ordering this too ;)

Thanks Josh, but from what I’ve heard the plastic panels are bonded to the underside of the plastic trunk and do not come off. There is one panel that can come off which hides some electronic stuff, but other than that I’ve never heard of anyone removing the plastic panels. I think that’s why anyone that’s put a wing on these cars has had to drill through the plastic. I had to with my Suvneer wing. The ADRO wing guys have had to as well.

If you could ask for pictures or even install instructions that would be really helpful!

Thanks Josh!

Yeah they confirmed the plastic is NOT transferable as its bonded by glue.. So I guess you have to run without any interior trim or buy new OEM ones..

Thanks for checking Josh. I think I’ll just get my trunk holes repaired before I install my ADRO wing.

Makes me wonder then -- if someone were to try and run a wing, say a Verus V1X, where the install requires a supporting plate designed for the underside of the OEM trunk lid... how would it work for the CF trunk that doesn't have the OEM plasitc that most wing kits would account for?

Would be easier. No plastic needs to be cut

Have you had this done yet? I need to do this post-Verus wing and looking to gauge what i'd expect to pay.
