will i be able to run 305's in the rear with a 40 offset? or would a 32 offset be better for front and rear?
i’m giving like an aggressive street setup. ideally either running something like 555RIIs all around or summer tires up front and nittos, MTs, etc. in the rear

the offsets i’m giving you can easily be sold too, like common sizes in the marketplace. +40 is perf

you can run 305/40s in the rear, you can even run 305/45 if you’re at stock height, but stay with 305/40 and mind your tire pressures, is my suggestion

Can anyone confirm or help me I want to run a square 18x10.5 +32 (ADVAN GT) 295/35/18 Bridgestone Re71RS and I will be on HKS HAS/lowering springs. I believe this should clear the spring perch with the HKS.
I have checked APEX wheel fitment guide and I can’t really navigate this specific question.

It looks like on their write up it specifically says 18x11 with HKS lowering will absolutely clear 295/35/18 squared. I feel pretty confident that the 18x10.5 +32 would be almost the same? Can anyone confirm?

I though I seen someone on this forum run 295/35/18 on TEs7 18 squared which should be almost the same as the ADVAN but I want to confirm.

It works. The car pictured is running the EXACT set up (wheels, tires, HAS) you're describing. He later swapped in adjustable top hats after as theres little camber adjustment without them.

Hope this helps.

Anybody run 18x10+25 square setup on 275s (with stock suspension)? I've read the Apex article on square setups... and the verdict was 18x10+30 is about the least amount of offset you can get away with in the rear BUT I would like to hear some first hand experience on this if one has it.

Apex uses people first hand experience for their suggestions. Many members car’s are on there as examples. Takes the guess work out, if that helps. Sure did for me.

I’ve got 2 sets of Apex ET30s (one black one bronze) - 18“ full square setup. Love em!!

An 18x10" ET25 is only 2mm more aggressive than an 18x11" ET40 which can usually be run pretty safely out back on these cars in stock form.

If I had to guess, 2mm isn't going to cause you much headache.

Up front is where you could be pushing it. It's going to be a little poke-y, but not undrivable.

These are the Enkei gtc02 18x10 18x10.5 they came out great and can’t wait to start tracking it.
F 18x10 +35?
R 18x10.5 +35?

Assuming the 18x10 +35 won't work with stock suspension, you'd need coilovers or spacers?

Have new setup coming next week, lowered on H&R and unsure on tire size. 275/35 or 40 on front? Leaning towards 295/40 rear. Seen plenty of pics w lower Eibach drop, just trying to keep gap filled as much as possible with H&R.

TE37 Saga S Plus
18x10 +25
18x11 +34

current setup…19x9.5 w 275/35 and 17x10 w 305/45

Though this isn't an Apex Wheel being discussed, I'd probably recommend a 5mm spacer for an 18x10" ET35 up front just to be safe.

And since these are lug bolt cars, it's not a huge deal to mess around with longer bolts and spacers to dial in the fitment you're looking for.

That's good to know, thank you. I'm just personally a bit hesitant to use a spacer on track, is there enough of the hub protruding for the wheel to properly seat?

I‘ve put on a lot of track miles on mine with 10mm spacers all around & Apex wheels. 5mm would have probably been perfect, but I didn’t think of asking Apex back then ??‍♂ We guesstimated 10mm would do the trick and it did. I got the lifetime replacements ones from Turner MS.

Tons of other guys I know do it as well with their track cars - quality spacers and stud conversion kits. Obviously not overtorquing and ensuring the wheels are flush. You can also remove the flimsy hub centering rings if they get in the way, pinched and/or better fit.

The only issue I had wasn’t the spacers or fault of the wheels. I really chucked up one of my original Apex bronze wheels (I have another black set) when I 1st got the car ?. A local wheel repair guy said luckily I they were quality wheels = able to repair. Thus I was able to take it back to the alignment shop and get it balanced again.

Owner says:

" Just fitted a square setup of 18x10+25 with some sticky 275/40 CR-S all round lowered on H&R springs and I couldn’t be more happier with the fitment. "

Owner also reports no rubbing.
