New member. My wife bought her Supra a while back. I've been using this forum for various maintenance and upgrades. Oil changes, brake fluid change, horn change, I had to change tires to all weather tires, used Bimmercode OBDlink, etc. All from perusing these forums.

Just wanted to say thankyou for the wealth of information. Regards.

We have a deposit on absolute white auto not a premium but the safety/tech/JBL pkg. Still in transit. MSRP + 699 dealer fee.

I found the Supra I wanted, in route to a dealership outside Atlanta (I live in Cape Coral, FL). I called and they sold it to me for MSRP plus dealer fee of just $499. It's due to arrive in the next 7 to 14 days. My local dealer Auto Nation, wanted $10,000 over MSRP and also required I take over $2400 in add-ons, most of which I had no desire to have. I intend to rent a car, drive 600+ miles to Atlanta to get the car and then have fun driving it home! It should look a little like the photo below... at least for a little while.
My neck of the woods! Auto Nation told me the same crap. I shipped my 1st one from NC and the 2nd from MD. Well worth it, saved $9000 & didn’t reward bad habits. I would have considered driving had it been in the ATL area. Congrats ?

When you say it will only look like that for a little while, what are you doing to it? Track, drag, or just fo fun upgrades?

The funny thing is getting help from me on how to do anything computer wise or techy ?

2024 A91 Supra manual
Hello from the UAE,
Just got my 2024 Supra manual

I had an AE86 back in 2000, and came back to Toyota in 2021 with the GR Yaris. What a fun car.

I used to be a big BMW fan, but they lost design somehow. Last new BMW I bought was a 2011 BMW 1M, which I still have.

Now the Supra,
I am really amazed by this car.
It has the best of both: Toyota and BMW.
It is properly designed, packaged well with a lovely engine and amazing transmission. I drove the new Z and this is miles better than that car (although I love the Z's retro rear lights)

Power is amazing in the Supra. You can be lazy with the manual and it is ok due to the abundant torque.

I drove the MK4 Supra back in 1997-2000, but was never a fan of the car. It was always a fast car that was made faster by everyone but I really love this one.

Hello Everyone!
My name is Mike and I am a new member from Illinois. I currently have a 2025 Renaissance Red GR Supra auto on order scheduled to arrive around March/April 2025. I originally ordered a manual but changed my mind so that the wife can also enjoy it. Thanks.

Sport cars I've owned:
  • 1993 Mazda RX7 R1
  • 2017 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

I just did a reflective red 1/4" stripe around the bottom of the car. Tomorrow the windows get tinted. The rear window will probably be the darkest legal tint as it looks like a greenhouse for the Florida sun! Then I'm considering that some day soon I may do a wide stripe up the hood. It would start at the curve on the nose and then straight up the hood from where that curve meets the hood. It would start in a bright red to tie into the stripe I just did, but as it goes up the hood it will get darker and darker until it turns almost black where it gets to the windshield.

I raced SCCA for 25 years and auto crossed my 2006 & 2021 Miata for several years. I'll do a few auto-cross events to get comfortable with the car and then would like to do a couple of track days. West Palm is gone, I think Sebring is too bumpy... I'd do Daytona, but I like tracks with elevation change. So Road Atlanta and Barber Motorsports Park are high on my list.

This is me in my Miata at Barber:

Glad to hear it amigo! I sure do luv my MX5 ? & well done on yours! You need to use that free track day for your new Zupra regardless… What about Homestead or The Firm? Those might fit the bill for ya.

I bought mine used back in July last year. Completely stock, except it had a bluetooth JB4 already in it!

As of now the only things I've done to it is a Jesse Map 6, gloss black M-style mirror caps, MST V2 Intake, and Burger Tuning spacers (12 front 15 rear, not yet installed in picture).

I'm one of the many owners who upgraded from a 370Z 7AT. Complete night and day difference even before I got JB4 activated. Although if there is anything I miss about the Z it's how little attention I got. The Supra is no Lambo, but people wanting to race (in an area where they confiscate your car for doing so if caught) gets old pretty quick.

Hoping to upgrade from lurker to regular here, this place has filled many slow hours at work this past 6 months.

Those are possible, but with 25 years of racing under my belt, traveling a long way to do tracks that are so flat don't do a lot for me. I only did Barber because it was a Miata Reunion, I got 5 sessions on track (with 2 pro photographers), it was a track I dearly wanted to experience and a friend drove up in his Miata as well.

I've had my new Supra for just over a week now. What a nice car for driving around town. Way more luxurious feeling than my 2021 Mazda MX5 Miata Club. I've added a reflective red stripe around the bottom and just got the windows tinted.

Supra?
Hi there! I am a brand new member to the forums, and I recently just purchased my first Supra! I found a 2020 Certified Pre Owned Launch Edition with only 6000 miles on it. Drove 3 hours to Fresno to get it last Saturday and it's been an absolute addicting joy to drive. I'm a C8 corvette refugee and come from two busted new C8's that both needed replacement transmissions that GM bought back.

Any tips or advice you all can give a newcomer? I'm not a new driver, and this car pushes your limits, but any helpful tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. I am in love with this car. I've been bumming around the Bay Area doing night drives and it's just an absolute dream even stock (for now : D).
