My neck of the woods! Auto Nation told me the same crap. I shipped my 1st one from NC and the 2nd from MD. Well worth it, saved $9000 & didn’t reward bad habits. I would have considered driving had it been in the ATL area. Congrats ?I found the Supra I wanted, in route to a dealership outside Atlanta (I live in Cape Coral, FL). I called and they sold it to me for MSRP plus dealer fee of just $499. It's due to arrive in the next 7 to 14 days. My local dealer Auto Nation, wanted $10,000 over MSRP and also required I take over $2400 in add-ons, most of which I had no desire to have. I intend to rent a car, drive 600+ miles to Atlanta to get the car and then have fun driving it home! It should look a little like the photo below... at least for a little while.
The funny thing is getting help from me on how to do anything computer wise or techy ?THANKS FLtrackdays I was testing out the feature and this is the pic I had available, this forum is nice ? I will get better shots later.
I just did a reflective red 1/4" stripe around the bottom of the car. Tomorrow the windows get tinted. The rear window will probably be the darkest legal tint as it looks like a greenhouse for the Florida sun! Then I'm considering that some day soon I may do a wide stripe up the hood. It would start at the curve on the nose and then straight up the hood from where that curve meets the hood. It would start in a bright red to tie into the stripe I just did, but as it goes up the hood it will get darker and darker until it turns almost black where it gets to the windshield. My neck of the woods! When you say it will only look like that for a little while, what are you doing to it? Track, drag, or just fo fun upgrades?

Glad to hear it amigo! I sure do luv my MX5 ? & well done on yours! You need to use that free track day for your new Zupra regardless… What about Homestead or The Firm? Those might fit the bill for ya.I just did a reflective red 1/4" stripe around the bottom of the car. Tomorrow the windows get tinted. I raced SCCA for 25 years and auto crossed my 2006 & 2021 Miata for several years. I'll do a few auto-cross events to get comfortable with the car and then would like to do a couple of track days. West Palm is gone, I think Sebring is too bumpy... I'd do Daytona, but I like tracks with elevation change. So Road Atlanta and Barber Motorsports Park are high on my list.
This is me in my Miata at Barber:

Those are possible, but with 25 years of racing under my belt, traveling a long way to do tracks that are so flat don't do a lot for me. I only did Barber because it was a Miata Reunion, I got 5 sessions on track (with 2 pro photographers), it was a track I dearly wanted to experience and a friend drove up in his Miata as well.Glad to hear it amigo! I've had my new Supra for just over a week now. What a nice car for driving around town. Way more luxurious feeling than my 2021 Mazda MX5 Miata Club. which emirate are you from? looks amazing!Hello from the UAE,
Just got my 2024 Supra manual
I had an AE86 back in 2000, and came back to Toyota in 2021 with the GR Yaris. What a fun car.
I used to be a big BMW fan, but they lost design somehow. Last new BMW I bought was a 2011 BMW 1M, which I still have.
Now the Supra,
I am really amazed by this car.
It has the best of both: Toyota and BMW.
It is properly designed, packaged well with a lovely engine and amazing transmission. I drove the new Z and this is miles better than that car (although I love the Z's retro rear lights)
Power is amazing in the Supra. You can be lazy with the manual and it is ok due to the abundant torque.
I drove the MK4 Supra back in 1997-2000, but was never a fan of the car. It was always a fast car that was made faster by everyone but I really love this one.
Shihab
