I’m at 56k and finally hit my first real issue. The blend door is it stuck or something. No heat on windshield, dash or foot of drivers side. If I put the temp on 84, it ONLY is hot on passenger side on all vents. Stays ice cold on drivers side.

Anyone have diagram or something, not opposed to fixing it myself if its not too expensive. I do have extended warranty but dont really trust dealership to not mess up my wrapped interior

You paid for extended warranty but to worried about the dealer to use it? Then why have it?

Ever find a solution? Also dealing with this
Its the mixed air flap motor for me (pic attached). The whole dash has to come out to fix the issue and a new HVAC system has to be installed. I asked on Facebook and a tech was the one that informed me.

Jeez that sounds like a nightmare, I’m at the dealer right now let’s see what they say lol How long did the repair take and how were they able to diagnose it?

To me it's not worth the effort, ran the ac calibration and it gave me that error. I'm not going to get it done any time soon. Hardly drive the car when it's cold, live in TX, glad it was the heater and not the AC.

Think it's like an 8 hour job from Toyota.

They tried to gaslight me saying it’s a climate function setting that has to be adjusted then said it depends on the battery charge and then said it may take 15 mins to heat up. Sitting In my car right now for 15 mins and 60 on one side feels the same as 80 on the other. I did adjust the climate setting all the way up and noticed the heat went up but It was more of a bandaid then the actual AC functioning properly. They didn’t do an ac calibration but will ask them to do it Monday. Bummed because my intake,dp and suspension parts just landed

Bunch of idiots, a simple calibration would have shown the issue.

To anyone having this issue and still under warranty. I would recommend to have it done on their dime.
