Hey all, for those that have installed an aftermarket subwoofer, what wire or fuse did you tap into for the amp remote wire? I have seen too many different options including splicing into the stock amp and well as the fuse box (ex: F215). Any advice would be appreciated.

F215 should work fine.
You can also use F273. (Fuse of the 12V socket)
It will shut down a few minutes after locking the car. Same with F215.

I checked the voltage at all fuses a while back in different states: unlocked, ignition on, and locked. I might share the results in a new thread.

Thank you! Will it still shut off if I keep the car unlocked?

@MK5_Ger Do you know which fuses are always on?
I only checked for the rear fusebox.
The ones that always have voltage, even with the car locked are the following:
F217, F221-F230, F242-F246
Not every slot has a fuse in it. It will depend on the options.
