Hi everyone,
I recently picked up a 2022 Supra 2.0 (JP-market SZ model), and I’m absolutely loving it so far! However, after some research, I discovered that my model is the lower-output version with 195 HP, compared to the 255 HP base model in the US.
I’m currently considering a Stage 1 tune (though I’m open to other recommendations). My main question is:
Thanks in advance!

I’m currently considering a Stage 1 tune (though I’m open to other recommendations). My main question is:
- is there any hardware different between the 195HP ver and 255 HP ver?
- Since the engine (B48) is mechanically similar, can tuning bridge the gap between the 195 HP and 255 HP versions?
- I’ve seen claims of 310 HP with Stage 1 on the US-spec B48—does this apply to the JP-spec as well, or is the ceiling lower?
- How much power can I realistically expect without major hardware changes?
Thanks in advance!
Michael
