be very careful not to contaminate the sensors when you remove/install them ... i NEVER touch the heads of the sensors and i dont use grease or loctite on the threads.

Make sure the sensor is actually plugged in. Unplug it and plug it back in. Then clear the codes and see if it comes back.

Many of us have had our AA pipes in for a long time without a single issue.
I just got a CEL today after only having the downpipe for a couple of weeks and a couple hundred miles later. How does one clear the CEL code? kinda new to this sorry. thank you,

You can clear with JB4 if you have one.

I got a CEL after I installed my AA high-flow catted. I cleared it once, and it came back after about a week. Then I replaced the sensor, but the CEL came back again after about a week. After I cleared it that time though, the light hasn't returned. It's been a few months now.

Keep in mind, there is a chance it isn't the cat triggering the light and could be an 02 sensor. Reason I mention it is, if it's not the cat and is the 02, the light will just come back on most likely anyways. So I'd see what code it actually threw and go from there

i don't have a JB4 unfortunately. One of my friends who works at a dealer just cleared it for me though. Turns out it was the O2 sensor. if it comes up again, ill just get new sensors. Which one did you end buying? OEM from toyota? thank you

buy an OBD reader, JB4 or go to AutoZone and they will clear it for you.

if it happens again, get a picture of the code and file a warranty claim with active autowerke
