From the beginning it was supposed to be a 2+2 in the way a 911 is a 2+2.
I know, I am apparently among the few that is disappointed in this aspect..the FT1 had backseats and all gens of the Supra (and nearly all of Toyota's other FRs except for the 2000GT/LFA) had +2..the other thread dedicated to discussing the number of seats illustrated the issue right away, the length between the end of the door to the rear wheel arch definitely points to just being a 2 seater, not to mention the best photos of the interior appear to just show a shelf in the back

Nice new pics admin. Anytime there's still camoflage that's screwed on it means it's still really heavy camo sheets that are hiding the real shape underneath.

With these proto types now running in the wild (seen at gas stations as the latest pics show) I just really hope they skip this whole new 'concept' idea and just show the production at Tokyo. I think the entire world has been ready for it.

The small 17' wheels makes this thing look even smaller mixed with all that camo. I'm assuming production will be 19' or 20's. The new Civic Type R has 20' wheels.

That's ridiculous. What is the point of that? Not only is it useless from a performance standpoint, but they don't even look big on the car because the car is designed around 20" wheels. Back when everyone cared about having 20" wheels it was because they looked big. Now designers are making the wheel housings larger to accommodate larger wheels, but then they just look like normal wheels. I don't get it. I guess cars are getting bigger in general so maybe that's just a side-effect, but I hope they don't put 20's on the Supra. Jesus. I hate so many things. :spaz:

^ I think 20"s are way too big for the Civic Type R. The new GTR has 20" wheels, 911 GT3 has 20" wheels. The LC500 I believe has 20" and maybe 21" in the rear. I think 19" would be nice, but maybe 20" would look better depending on the final car proportions.

FT-1 concept had 21" by the way.

I would be happy with 20's. It's a modern look. At least 19's. 21 and larger is pushing it.

The FT1 doesn't look bad with 21s, but functionally I'd prefer something smaller. Plus the FT1 is larger than the Supra. I think 19's are a good compromise.

No larger than 19's from the factory please! The Supra prototype looks like a pretty small car so 19's should fit it nicely in terms of looks. Also 19's reduce unsprung weight, and also gives better tire options and prices than 20's.
