I know this is going to sound crazy. But, it's as if my driver's side seat bolsters have gotten...skinnier. The car is suddenly almost undrivable with the bolsters hugging my sides. I've had the car for 2 years and 16K miles (bought used at 6K miles) and NEVER once felt uncomfortable in the car until now. Passenger side seats still 100% comfortable.
Uploading images. I did a bad job of holding the measuring tape still while taking a photo with the other hand. But you can see the difference.
- I have not gotten fatter. I'm 6'0" and weigh 220 lbs.
- The electric bolster control still works.
- 22K miles on the car (2023).
- The car is valeted occasionally - who knows what they might have done.
- The driver's side bolsters measure about 1-inch "tighter" than the passenger side bolsters. Measured from seam to seam.
