Hey everybody, first post! I've been learning so much from everybody here.

I'm waiting on delivery of my stratosphere blue 3.0 Premium MT, on track to be here later this month. I won't be diving too deep into mods right off the bat, but I would like to know if there are some recommended changes or upgrades aimed at improving reliability, durability, and functionality.

Thank you, and I look forward to being a part of the group!

My pea sized brain believes if you can change anything under the hood from either plastic or rubber to metal is always better.

Not always, metal doesn't flex.

Welcome šŸ‘‹šŸ¼

For those things, like any car, replace stuff as they break with upgraded ones. Thereā€˜s nothing that really needs to be upgraded imo for daily driving. I’d personally pay out of pocket to not use my local Toyota dealer. So find a good BMW mechanic as a backup, as things come up. And get a code reader like the one below šŸ‘‡

OBDLink CX Bimmercode Bluetooth... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NFLL3NT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Most ā€œproblemsā€ will be electronic and you can code out (or add) a lot of stuff with BimmerCode.
