I would have loved to have been in the Toyota Supra shot with my black one! But even seeing the back end of my car is kind of cool. Thanks for posting it. I can't wait to see the shots from the professional photographers. And driving Daytona at speed was just thrilling!
I think I snapped that first one before we actually met, but it was nice meeting and chatting w you. I’ll prob be at Sebring w the same group on Veterans Day; you should come out.

Who knew chasing a 911 Cup car would make me beat my PB by almost a full second... I've been chasing a 55 at Lime Rock all last year and this year.

Our man is flying! That last corner is so uneasy and unsettling.

It was nice chatting with you as well. I'm already scheduled to be there. I've done Sebring a couple of times in a 2008 Miata with an after market turbo. Sebring is fun, but too flat for me to really love. I bit too bumpy as well. Road Atlanta, VIR and Watkins Glen are on my list for next spring thru summer.

I'd like to get back to two of my old 'home tracks' where I used to race a lot, Mid-Ohio and a little track where I first started, Waterford Hills (out NW of Detroit). Only 1.6 miles long, but some fun elevation changes. Back in 1980 when I first took a driver's school and raced there (yes, I'm old), entry fee was $35 for a weekend. Saturday was a practice, qualifying and a race. Sunday was qualifying, a race and then a feature race... all for $35. They raced a Fiat X1/9 there once a month for 6 months over the summers of 1980 and 81.

I'll see you there then, and I'm with you on the flatness of Sebring and Florida in general. You'll absolutely love RA(ATL) if you've never been. It's my favorite track from the big 3 in our neck of the SE, and it has a couple sections that you have to have some faith that the course is still there, since you can't quite see it.

nice cloudy day…suddenly turned 70 and sunny as soon as I got the foam cannon all setup. Rolled it into the garage for dry + wax!

What kind of pressure washer and setup you using? Mine comes out more on the soapy end and less foam. I have the active 2.0 for mine

The cheapest craftsman pressure washer and the regular foam cannon and wash from Chemical Guys. Actually works really well. Can get it all on Amazon

I've been to Road Atlanta quite a few times, but always as a photographer. I have to admit that I liked the old layout better, but the new one is still OK. I'm sure it would be my favorite of the 3 big tracks near us.
My favorite track of the almost 20 I've been on is Barber followed by Road America. Road America is so good that spectators have as good a view of the track as the people with photo passes!
