I recently took my car in for its 2-year maintenance, which included an oil change. My usual mechanic — whom I’ve trusted for about 8 years — filled it with “Masteroil Motoröl C-Tec Power LL IV 0W-20.”
My car is tuned to around 500 hp at the crank, so I want to make sure this oil is actually suitable for it.
I did some research and found the following specs:
It seems to be a German brand, often used for Porsche, VW, and similar cars.
I don’t want to cause any trouble with my workshop since I’ve been going there for years, but if this oil isn’t ideal for my setup, I might have to speak up.
Unfortunately, I can’t do oil changes myself.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
Edit: OIL is not approved by BMW or Toyota
