Do you need ducting though. If you just cut an appropriate hole in the wheel well liner wouldn’t this allow some pressure release from the wheel well?

Maybe you can come up with a ducting solution?

There is actually a hole that directly connects to the engine bay so some heat will be able to escape.
As far as the water it’s also supposed to drain so it’s not stuck there.

After several rounds of data logging tonight, I actually measured the temps between the area adjacent to the hood vent and the directly above the open aftermarket hood vents. I recorded 101.3F in the area directly next to the open hood vent, and 104.5F directly above the open hood vent. It's only 3 degrees difference but it is still a data point.

I am sure the water will get into the gap between the oem vents and the hood too. Data point is a data point.

Yes, there is a layer of foam on the backsides of both the factory and aftermarket hood vents which creates spaces and channels in the water under and through the foam.

I have some updates yea! The paint factory just opened again and a batch of vents will be sent there tomorrow for painting. All gloss black. I’m hoping they will be ready by next week.

I will be making an announcement once they are in stock again ready for shipping.
