If you shine a light though the hood vent it comes though the circle holes on the underside, that said they are over the black fender plastic which is sealed of from the engine compartment by a rubber seal.

Right. Not those holes. That’s what is was talking about. I ran the zip tie from the engine compartment side hood holes and it went through.

This is in the engine side. That zip tie goes through to the vent.

Ya'll know those sides are sealed away from the actual engine bay, right?

TLDR. None of the vents this guy is selling are functional.
Correct, but they do look better. Although I choose to spend my money on other "upgrades"

You don’t know why you’re talking about, my headlight operating temps have been running on avg 10 degrees cooler since going to the open front vents. This has allowed me to use 50% less blinker fluid which has paid for the vents in savings

My passenger side hood vent clipped in perfectly. However the driver side one will not clip in properly whatsoever. It'll stay on with 3M tape, but since it doesn't clip all the way it's always protruding.

Ha, is your car right hand drive? If so, mine is the same. Still 8 out of 10, whereas drivers side is 10/10
