Ok maybe solid wall wasn’t the right way to put it.

I got the AutoSolutions shift kit and it did take out a lot of vagueness and that rubbery feeling.

However, when I put it in gear it still feels like I hit a bit of rubber. Does it feel like you have solid stop when you put it in gear?

Just trying to see if the rear carrier bushing mount would be worth adding.

To me, it feels pretty solid. I also have a weight shift knob and it definitely changed the feeling up on the OEM shifter, like it felt smoother and like it was gliding into place but still with that rubbery, loose feel.

The weighted knob with the short shifter, everything feels solid from the side to side action, to the shifts up 1-3-5, to the shifts down 2-4-6 and reverse. I believe your shifter comes with a new carrier? No idea if the RE rear carrier bushing will fit snug on that like the OEM. I know the OEM bushing on the OEM carrier had a lot of play in it compared to the RE bushing.

I only did the rear carrier bushing, RE told me that's all I really needed but I do wish I would have gotten the front bushings too just for a long term maintenance thing. When researching, I did see quite a few M cars with deformed front bushings over time.

How did you remove the badges without damaging the PPF? Are they attached with double sided tape?
I want to switch mine also but I’m scared to damage my PPF.

Remove it like you would any other badge, heat gun and fishing line.
