I need to put some miles on the car, does anyone fancy a meet up somewhere in Scotland?

Might not appeal to those in the South, but this is an awesome road and a great view from the car park:

Anyone keen?

I'm keen! Is that the Cairn o Mount road?

Was planning to put my car away for winter soon, but depending on when this is might have to dig it out again!

It is indeed! Open to other suggestions from anyone though. How many Scottish folk have we got on here?

I'm up in Newcastle from time to time. (to us southerners that's basically Scotland ;) so easy to push on a bit further). I'd join if I'm free at the time.

I think there's a few other Scottish members on here but I think they stay further south.

Would it maybe be an idea to plan a bigger drive somewhere maybe in early Spring time and then people could plan more in advance for it, and maybe do the route at Cairn o Mount as just a quick drive sooner? Would be nice to get a run in before the gritters come out in force!

Haha you must be the first Southerner I've heard say that!! I'm often down at Glasgow, so would be much closer for a meet up with you guys! Although you wouldn't be disappointed with the roads up here!

I know! Want to drive it but don't want to let grit and salt get in so soon... Planning to put away and change to the 86 for winter maybe this weekend, maybe next. I'm sure there's time for one last blast before then though!

SORNed mine at end of October, booked in for full PPF first week in April, would be interested any time after.
Now in the 86 for winter fun, already had ice last week and Snowdon covered in snow over weekend.

Great minds thinks alike, kept my 86 for winter too! Tried to get it out the garage last night to change over after the Supra got snowed on on Saturday, only to find the battery was dead... Onto the charger and try again tonight!

If we're doing a wee drive soon, might be in the 86 for this one, depending on weather!

Had same problem with my 86 when left for about a month, yet Aygo can be left out in all weathers and start first time having been stood for a month or longer, intend to run supra at least once a month for 20 mins whilst off the road.

Back to topic, donā€™t know if my back can take about 4/5hrs in 86, Anglesey is 2hrs which is bearable, far more comfortable in Supra.

I got caught in the grit this morning... so looks like it will be a winter runner too haha! All protected anyway, so shouldnā€™t be an issue..!

Iā€™ll be out and about this weekend!

The Supra got properly snowed on this morning so might just have to put in garage this weekend... If you're around though I'd happily come along with my 86 (maybe Supra weather dependent!) if you're keen?
