Hood struts for CF hood

So I'm going to be installing a CF hood on the car, but I have no idea where to find lower pressure hood struts so I won't have to worry about damaging said hood.

For anyone who's installed a CF hood, what struts are you using? Alternatively, can anyone suggest a good source for struts?

Is it significantly lighter than stock? I heard that Seibon CF hood weighs about the same as OEM

I ordered some carbon fiber struts from ftspeed. I’ll let you know how they are when I receive them

24lbs vs 36ish, from what I've been told.

I have installed it, and it looks so damned good with the wrap. It does indeed weigh less than stock

It's a seibon hood.

Yeah, it's a Seibon hood. Called em up, and they only had the one available. Wouldn't have gotten it if it was normal CF.

When I get back from FL, we're going to put clear PPF on it. Looks amazing with it. He put a sample piece on so I could see how it'll look.
