Thank you @ChrisD for the review!! Question for you, what did you do when you reached the step pictured? Did you just take a chisel or pry bar? Did you use a special tool? Thanks again!

We didn't bother taking the whole coilover out of the car on the front, so didn't do that bit. Just undid the top nut in the engine bay, disconnected the wiring and brake line holder near the coilover , then loosened one of the lower control arm bolts. That gives you enough movement on the knuckle to pull down on the spring and eventually wiggle the top of the coilover out the side of the wheel arch so you can take the spring off. I'm making a video of us doing install and although its not a how to guide, it might help. The video isn't finished yet but I'll put up what I've edited so far in a minute and post it here just in case it helps anyone out.

While the video is uploading, here's what it ends up looking like once you get the spring off just to give you an idea. As you can see its still connected to the knuckle at the bottom of the strut, and you just compress the spring and pull down then point the whole thing out the wheel arch and pull the spring off

@trakday Looks awesome! Did you adjust the ride height once you removed it from the box?

sorry for the late response and thank you! Nothing was adjusted pre install. We installed it ...lowered the car off the lift..then let it settle some...then lowered the front 10mm and the rear 13mm. I don't like the "rake" look. The car feels ….how should I put this.....PERFECT!!! neutral in everyway.

Any of you have a creeking noise after install? It’s very faint and doesn’t catch through camera. I noticed it as I was backing out and turning the wheels. Thank you for the great info!

Mind had a minor creak when turning the steering wheels at low speed too. Try moving the included rubber spring silencer on the front spring towards the end of the spring, there should be two on each spring. You should be able to get to them by just jacking up the car.

Check your ride height sensor arm, it probably got pulled out during the install. They're mounted on the chassis side connected to the lower control arm. On the driver side, front and back.

Yup. I'm aware of that. The car is too low. The front should only have been an inch drop... But I think it's lower... Didn't measure before...

Is a spring compressor necessary to remove the front springs by the top nut or would putting a jack under the arm and letting it down slowly work fine?

$40 for a set online... Probably a good tool to invest in.

Did you guys, running the HKS touring kit, also needed to modify the ride height sensor?

(to prevent traction control to automatically come back on when you disable it?)
