So just FYI it is plug and play to swap it out. You just need to buy the cluster if your cluster doesn't have the hud connector(not sure if ours will). you can technically cut your dash to put the hud in too(at your own risk of course). So if you're brave it is possible, you can get cluster+hud for <1000 new, glass is 450 new, cable is 50. So 1500 before labor. and it 100% would work. People in BMW forums have done it and it's the same exact parts.j

And also - I'm 100% doing it just for the challenge. So I'll document it fully

Why would you wanna go though that pain with a brand new car? Iā€™m not sure who would wanna butcher up a brand new dash. If you want it looking OEM, then youā€™d have to buy a new dash, but run into dash stitching not matching to the rest of the interior...

Yolo, looked at the way it's made already and you would never know it's not oem. They manually cut the holes out of the dash as it is.

Just curious, are you guys getting your A91's at MSRP? One of the dealers here quoted me $5-10K above MSRP depending on the market rate when they get it in.
MRSP, no ADH

WOW NO HUD?!? We just been bamboozled!!

How can Toyota charge more for a car without one makes 0 sense. Iā€™m also pissed they snuck it out.

Rather get a premium in any color for $4500 off and then wrap it the color of my choice and still have money leftover.

You guys will still enjoy your cars donā€™t get me wrong BUT you are overpaying and I couldnā€™t live with that. I was already skeptic of buying a cosmetic only limited edition car but the fact that thereā€™s a downside compared to a regular model is an extra let down.

Another random thought - I had the black one preordered for a bit. Imagine if you were getting that one! Paying more for alcantara seats and blue stitching but losing HUD. OOF
No no no... youā€™re paying for some stickers and a wing (ooops wait, a wing?)
