So, i have a 1 day old, was delivered with 17 miles, has 50 miles now, and i have a small list of issues I cannot seem to get resolved, maybe the group can help, or i need to see Toyota. I emailed the manager at the local store next to my work, still no answer.

Issues:
1. Driver door panel has a rattle, its quite annoying on full throttle, and even more annoying when regular driving.
2. I have a Base, so the 6.5" center stack screen has an issue with brightness. The adjustment in settings does nothing, and the backup camera is useless as you cannot even see anything. From reading on some BMW forums, this is a common problem when the backlighting goes out on these systems. However, they do seem to make some cool aftermarket andoid 10.25" screen replacements which seems cool down the road.
3. the tow hook cover in the rear is flimsy, does not seem to fit properly, and you can knock it out of the hole with one finger push (not even a hard push)
4. the stereo (maybe its the base stereo), is terrible and distorts heavily
5. the side portion of the main 8.8" display where the radio etc should display, does not remain, it seems to only play when i press the wheel or mode button on the right hand portion of the steering wheel. (is this normal?)

just a little depressing that a brand new car would be having these issues. pics below

Sorry, I had to rotate them, it's painful for my neck :)

1. I have rattle coming from somewhere between the driver seat and rear. I don't think it's the door. Haven't bothered me so much so that I've tried to locate the source.
2. I have the premium. Not as dim as yours, but I also feel brightness is inadequate with any outside light condition. Hadn't researched the Android for this car yet. I have one for my 86, love having an android device! (not AndroidAuto or CarPlay). While at that, some YouTuber's mentioned they have intermittent connectivity issues with the CarPlay. That hasn't been my experience. Google Maps, Waze and even Apple Maps along with Pandora has been working without interruptions. Though I've yet to find the % volume decrease upon calls, etc..
3. I agree. First time I washed the car, I realized this too. Also the rear bumper itself has a lot of play to it and if you apply a bit of pressure, it makes some funny noise.
4. stereo, as I mentioned in another post, for me is muffled, unless you turn the volume up almost all the way. I guess BMW noise comfort mode or something?
5. I don't know if it's "normal", but that's also how mine is. I did also talk about it in another random blurting post of mine. I guess with HUD, and 2 8.8in screens, they couldn't decide where to put what???

^^ Nice view from the office?

I'm working on getting a Huracan in 7-8 years time, if I play these cards right. Any big noticeable differences between the V10 in the lambo opposed to the R8?
(Sorry if I'm going off topic.)

You might want to see if one of the interior light sensors is blocked or shaded somehow. BMW uses them to control brightness of the displays (this is separate from the user setting). Some people that install dark tint have problems with this, as the sensors never see proper daytime brightness and become sensitive to shadows, etc. Other people accidentally cover up a sensor somehow and unwittingly force the screens to dim. I don't know where the sensors are on the Supra but look around the dashboard and interior.
