I guess theyā€™re marking up something that wasnā€™t already cheap... although I guess thatā€™s what Iā€™d probably do if I sold mine, too, given how much of a hassle it was to get them over here. :p

lol well this is going to get confusing around here with these two user names...

Anyway, on the Japan website you can select the TRD parts via the ā€œcustomizeā€ page much like you can select the CF mirror caps on the Toyota website in the US when you click to ā€œBuildā€ your car. If you didnā€™t get your car through a dealer, though, my experience (in this case at least) was that Japanese dealers redirect you to GR Garage. That might be because the Supra just came out and isnā€™t readily available there, though.

LMAO what are the odds of that....i thought i made that up and was being cleaver....is there a way to change my user name? i havent gotten my car yet and i did inform the dealer i wanted the TRD rear wing along with the CF mirror caps....but i would prefer to have it as a dealer installed option (this way if there is any issues its under my warranty)

Unless your dealer is much more competent than mine, the TRD parts will probably be off the table (the CF mirror caps arenā€™t TRD parts) as they donā€™t even show up in dealersā€™ systems here like they do in Japan.

In order to have the TRD parts that I picked up (namely, the trunk spoiler and side door garnishes) installed here in the United States, I went ahead and translated the instruction manuals from Japanese into English. Please note that these are not official translations by Toyota and are my own personal translations, so if you decide to use them, please do so at your own risk. (Although I'm fluent in Japanese, it's entirely possible that I could've inadvertently made typos and what not as I went about this rather quickly.) I thought it may be helpful for this community to have these as a reference, so I'm sharing them here.

;)
