I think I'd be measuring the tread depth of the blown and good tyre before I spent money replacing a near new rear tyre just for matching purposes.

Ok so if I understand you correctly then your particular car has a 5degree C operating window to measure the oil qty? I think from memory the owners manual says 30 min driving which should bring the oil temp into the 60-100C range (I always test it after a drive) which concurs with what you have...
One thing to be aware of using this or the old manual bleeding method with someone else on the brake pedal is that you are pushing the master cylinder piston a lot further down the bore than it ever travels normally and after some years of use this is where corrosion and wear contaminants can...
I'm wondering why you'd bother with any cosmetic upgrades or even replacing any parts damaged cosmetically if you pimp your car out like a whore to any of your friends that happen to be around, lol. It's bound to happen again so why bother.

It's pretty much a subconscious thing the mate that mentioned it to me said. When you see a wheel design that you really, really like it's almost always an odd spoke number design. Thats the theory. Just interested on whether or not there's something in it.

I actually like the original BMW wheels better. I'm not a huge fan of the stock Supra wheels although my car has them and I'm not going to update to anything else. Has anyone else heard of the odd numbered spoke principle with wheels? Odd numbers of spokes generally look better than even numbers...
Yes true I misread his post and thought he had already fitted the light flywheel. You are also right about the large jump between first and second but thats not going to affect the rev hang which most define as the engine not immediately losing rpm once you get off the throttle during the shift...
Even if it didn't it wouldn't matter. A second or two cranking is no big deal while the lift pump or delivery pump does it's job. A few of my bikes run the pump for 3 seconds when you turn on the ignition switch and also give each injector one fuel shot but if you turn the key and hit the...
Yes I was reading that yesterday as well, surprising. I need to do more research. Maybe the guys that are heavily into the tuning and logging can shed some light.

My advice is to go back to the installer and ask for a refund on the install part of the PPF and then just live with it. You'll likely generate more issues trying for a repair warranty or not.
Phil
Yes. It's about the rate the throttle is allowed to close when you lift off to reduce hydrocarbon emissions. It's not a Supra specific issue as many modern manual cars suffer from it and have for years. The precise control via the clutch switch I don't know about and most of the expertise here...
