Update.
The noise came back (a little) ... so i undid the 3 prong screw ... removed the spring and thrust bush ... ALL THE GREASE HAD DRYED UP and there was not a lot of it at all... it was a real hard job to remove the bush which should move freely ... making me think they really didn't pack...
well i want to buy but only drop down in shipping is United States ...
OK .. they have amended site and i have now ordered a pair ... i will review on arrival and fitment. thx
After much searching i could not find a RHD Dead pedal with same look as the Gas pedal... so i bought a BMW X3 LHD dead pedal and cut it so size. for ÂŁ24 its pretty good .... whatdoyathink ??

Well i got the tool and set to work ... very luckily RHD cars all you need to do is remove airbox ( 2 min job) and the adjuster is in front of you ... see pic
it wasnt tight ... and easily tightened with a socket wrench ... i initially turned in clockwise 1/8th of a turn...
looks like f30/F32 BMWs have an EPS repair kit BMW Part # KIT: 32 10 6 891 974 but it does not say it fits the Supra/Z4(M40i) .... i have ordered the three prong tool from ebay .. ÂŁ12 ( but you can apparently use a angle grinder spanner ) .... i will turn it clockwise 1/8th of turn and...
i think ive found the issue ...
its the preload adjustment nut on the steering rack , it appears to be a common issue on the BMW`s ( pains me to say but the supra IS mostly a bmw )

well ... I had my Geometry checked and whole car was way off spec ... excessive toe out on front and uneven toe on rear ... they corrected it to factory specs.... and they had a good check of all suspension parts and said "it is not any part of the suspension mate" ...and they are well...

The noise is worse when the car has warmed up ... and after a long drive i got a mate to press on the hood/light and with the noise present i grabbed the tie rods ...... the outer tie rods ( track rods in the UK ) where fine BUT the inner one on the righthand side is making...

but i will check for bearing split on turning wheel IN CASE the dealer removed shock to remove pucks ( i know they dont have to but most dealers are useless)
My noise is only at very low speeds (1-5mph) when warm...
you mean the transportation shock pucks ... yes these were removed on PDI .... i have stock wheels ... i have checked everything ... my car has only done 8k miles ... only occurs low speed ... i really sounds like brake pads moving but they do look like they fit well with no play. its going to...
Any updates on this ? .... i did get hold of the standard vents and cut them out and put a mesh grill and i cant believe how much heat comes out of them after a "run" !!!! please let us know ETA
