Haven't watched the full video but his previous Supra specific video was quite interesting.
I think he only speaks of Toyota engines. Since ours is a BMW it might differ?
Also. In Europe (Belgium/Germany) we get 10 year warranty (engine included) called Toyota Relax if we service the vehicle...
I, at most, idle my vehicle for max 5 minutes before I start driving it.
And still after the latest ISTA update (see few posts back), I do not have the throttle hesitation anymore.
Just a side note: the mentioned update is an update that is newer than the brake recall one.
I did the update...
About 1500km in now, still not reproduced.
Someone else with a stock vehicle, that is willing to have it updated, should try it out and report back.
More voices = verification of the fix.
Bought my M sport style mirror caps from aliexpress. Super cheap and fitment is perfect.
They do fix the wind buffeting issue. Atleast the ones with sharp points. Can't tell if the more blunt point fixes it too.
Maybe the crash security module (F75). I can imagine that might be connected with the airbags which in turn might be connected to the horn in the steering wheel.
Have you had the chance to test drive a Supra?
I cannot vouch for the luxuriousness or quietness of the C43 but I can imagine the Supra will be louder/more raw of an experience.
Since you are only driving a few thousand miles a year, the better question would be:
Am I willing to drive more...
No it is metallic. Luckily imho, once had to repaint my GT86 with pearlescent white color, was a nightmare to get correctly matched with other body parts. So I am glad I don't have to worry about that with this color ?
Don't quote me on this but I have a feeling it is actually refraction but just named differently for PR purposes(?). In all press material the color is described as Horizon Blue, but looking at the color code. It is just D09, like refraction is.
Unless a MKV Refraction owner comes to Europe, it...

Inital of my name and engine code letter.

Used in my game usernames. Also came close to 58 engine code, but just like me, never reaching full potential.
The update can be quite a procedure. My Toyota mechanic took quite a few hours to comfortably and safely update the ecu. So I think you have to book a separate appointment.
I suspect it has been fixed now. Only had about 800km road use since the update flash but never had it since.
I secretly hope by saying this I jinx the universe into making it happen again so I can be certain it wasn't fixed.
You're welcome. Least I can do to give back to this forum providing me with valuable information as well :)
Indeed. The update I mentioned was the latest and greatest according to the mechanic. The Toyota ISTA computers/laptops they use don't provide much information about the content of the...
