Well said. I still think the key here will be the entry price if that's what they are giving us as a starting platform.
I like some feel a certain way about the name. But for the most part the reviews all seem to align with positive notes which is a good thing and shows the potential is there...
^ if this was they year 2003; based on the rumors I'd say this Supra is acceptable as the MKV Supra (maybe, excluding the BMW collab of course). However, the car is coming out in 2019 and it seems like that's what we're getting a car that looks to fit the times (FT-1 resemblance) but the specs...
"After years of concept cars, and leaked images of the production version covered in camouflage, Toyota may finally take the wraps off its new Supra in Paris. "
Key word here is 'may' not will...like always
^ I think they are the same. The racing concept is in doors while the other is outdoors so the maybe lighting?
These do look like the cover have a red tint film over them. I think the production covers will be clear and the inside housing have the gunmetal look like the FT-1 tail lamps also a...
^^ I don't think any of those cars have one unfortunately. If so I'm sure more pics would have surfaced with some indication.
However, the 'track focused/GRMN' version could be the version with one or so I hope along with a manual transmission. But I don't think one of those is running around...
^ I was thinking the same thing. They could just be taking a wild guess on prices or this is the price they are planning to sell it for on initial release no matter if the sticker prices comes in at $50-$65k mark....because Supra :rolleyes1:
Although it would be nice if Toyota stepped in and...
I guess the interiors may actually be slightly different:
I hope the Supra stays with more of the all blacked out look. Not a fan of the silver painted trims.
Yes and No. Depending on what this car turns out to be. If they are giving us a modern 370Z and charging an additional $15k+ because its a 'Supra'; some of us who have been following this car will see that and keep shopping. We live in a good era with a lot of choices and a few more to come...
^Overall their trucks are great and hold their value for the most part. But I did notice this case with several of the first few models of the Toyota FJ Cruiser (2007+) which were victims of inner fender bulging and cracking. Although the later year models were corrected of this, it steered me...
^ It makes me really wonder if by the time Toyota FINALLY decides to pull the camo off and really spill the beans on what the heart is, will Chevy steal the spot light by releasing the mid engine Corvette (or w/e they name it) the way the Ford GT stole the spot light from the NSX debut :hmm...
Not a fan of the top cover. But I can also see how maybe its portraying the hood/front end of the MKV Supra a bit.
I wonder if the production car will display any BMW stamps on the engine anywhere or components???
