Follow up if anyone was curious as I was as to how katzkin upholstery would look in our cars. I bit the bullet and took the risk. Iām happy to say I like how it turned out. Looks pretty OEM in my opinion. I got it in autumn color leather. Cost around $2,000 installed. It really wakes up the dull...
Hey there! Digging up a super old thread but please could I ask you what tires (brand and type) you used for this setup? Iām planning on getting the exact same Advan wheels and am already lowered on HKS springs with ZL1 flaps lol. Pretty much identical. Was just hoping to avoid getting the wrong...
Damn that looks good! I really considered the swan neck as itās one of the few good looking wings for the mkv. The a91 decals work pretty good too! Might just have to get those for mine!
Thanks! I figured it was just the lighting/eyes playing tricks on me. Found a set of hazelnut seats on eBay but the condition and price isnāt great. Checking now to see if itās just better to reupholster my seats in tan or not.
Hi all, super old thread sorry to dig up but am I tripping or is there really a difference to the a91 cognac tan and the now hazelnut orange-ish tan? Or is the lighting/my eyes playing tricks on me? Iām looking to swap my black interior of the hazelnut but what I see online the color varies at...
Anyone tried or know how katzkinās look in our cars? Judging by google images on other models it appears thereās a bit of wrinkles occasionally for some folk. Which would kill it for me. Needs to look factory if Iām dropping $1,000+ just for the material. Albeit it could be the installer.
Anyone got some more pics of their hood with this vent? Iād also really like to see the underside of the hood too if possible. Need some reference pics for my body shop. Thanks!
I wonder if on the underside of the hood could someone affix a rain tray to the bottom of the vent to direct water to drain towards the front of the car away from the motor? I had a s550 mustang previously with a gt500 replica hood that had that, a rain guard. Seemed like a good idea. For...
Iām really considering doing this to my car. Can any one tell me what would be the long term concerns of rain water getting into the engine bay through the vent opening over the years? I live in a home with out a garage so my car is always exposed to snow and rain.
Hey digging up an old thread but I just got installed in my ā24 the same autosolutions shifter and wow what a difference it makes! I told Ronald who runs and makes the shifter at AS that I wanted the same specs as user shamrocks albeit just slightly more traffic heavy/daily driver focused so...

Update, been a while now with the billetworkz knob. Iāve grown used to the throws which are definitely easier and makes reverse much nicer to use. Albeit the feel is nearly completely muted so take that for how it is. Sometimes feels like Iām shifting a bowl or churned butter. Granted I think...
Update I did end up removing one washer from the stop and immediately it felt better than with two. It only lasted about a week before the whole thing snapped maybe from the cold weather or from being removed and reinstalled as it seems this thing is a one time use. I did buy another one but...
So I bought and installed the $10 eBay clutch stop and I gotta say wow what a difference. I sort of never realized I how the pedal was being pushed back further than it needed to go until now. I took the advice of a user here and removed two of the shims and it seems pretty on the money. Iām no...
