Nice find but that solution is the very definition of over-engineering! For a few dollars more, you can just buy Bimmercode and solve many more minor annoyances. ?
Anyone try this?

RE:I want to:
a) Remove the annoying Auto Off symbol - my car always runs in Sport mode so its redundant.
b) Attempt to remove cruise control from the HUD whilst keeping it in the cluster - if anyone knows how to do this, please reach out!
c) Add my date of birth, lol.
| Remove green Cruise Control element from HUD whilst retaining it in the instrument cluster. | Instrument Cluster | 3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration > LDM_HUD_DCCSYMBOL_ENABLE | nicht_aktiv |
These all work fine for me (MY23 MT).RE:
B) Attempt to remove cruise control from the HUD
This worked for me on 2024 3.0 MT
Remove green Cruise Control element from HUD whilst retaining it in the instrument cluster. Instrument Cluster 3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration > LDM_HUD_DCCSYMBOL_ENABLE nicht_aktiv
Removes speed limit sign display from HUD
Instrument Cluster
3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration > hud_speed_limit_enable
nicht_aktiv

-No Success
Your options are what @tracer bullet outlined above or XHP (for automatics). As of 03/2023 i-level it is no longer possible to FDL code MSA and I would not expect that to ever change. BMW, simply prohibits change from being made at least on US spec cars.Is there any news on being about to code the stop start memory function back on for the MT people?
