Anyone try this?
Nice find but that solution is the very definition of over-engineering! For a few dollars more, you can just buy Bimmercode and solve many more minor annoyances. ?‍♂

I want to:

a) Remove the annoying Auto Off symbol - my car always runs in Sport mode so its redundant.
b) Attempt to remove cruise control from the HUD whilst keeping it in the cluster - if anyone knows how to do this, please reach out!
c) Add my date of birth, lol.
RE:

This worked for me on 2024 3.0 MT
Remove green Cruise Control element from HUD whilst retaining it in the instrument cluster.Instrument Cluster3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration > LDM_HUD_DCCSYMBOL_ENABLEnicht_aktiv

Removes speed limit sign display from HUD
Instrument Cluster

3000 Anzeige_Konfiguration > hud_speed_limit_enable
nicht_aktiv

-No Success

These all work fine for me (MY23 MT).

With the Auto Off Symbol, I found that it may need to be toggled on and off before it works. I'd suggest trying to set it back to aktiv, test it and if it doesn't work, set it back to nicht_aktiv and test it again.

Unfortunately, BimmerCode doesn't appear to be an exact science, despite how it may appear. The good news, however, is that once these codes are set, they stay set.

Is there any news on being about to code the stop start memory function back on for the MT people?

For my Z4 and almost guaranteed for your Supra, you set start / stop to be automatically off as a setting in the personalized Sport mode. Then you use Bimmercode to have the car automatically start in that mode. Here's where I set mine:

Body Domain Controller
Default Driving Mode = Sport Individual

Engine Control Unit
Auto Start / Stop Function Memory = Active
Auto Start / Stop Function = Not Active

Your options are what @tracer bullet outlined above or XHP (for automatics). As of 03/2023 i-level it is no longer possible to FDL code MSA and I would not expect that to ever change. BMW, simply prohibits change from being made at least on US spec cars.

Understood, thank you.
