Was curious on the size, is it bigger than stock or about the same?
It’s bigger and much much heavier than stock Wouldn’t want any bigger or heavier though. Feels great in the hand. Fast shipping nice quality components.

Does it sit higher than stock?

Leather looks like it matches well with your interior. I thought about getting the alcantara knob to match my interior pieces but decided to stick with leather since alcantara gets dirty quick lol

I agree on the alcantara. It’s why I didn’t go with raceseng, as their limited inventory only had that in stock.

Did you use the boot collar? Or is it under the boot and not visible?
It’s under the boot and not visible. The fusion knob with the collar meet together to eliminate any boot gap. Granted I may not have done it all 100% perfectly but I think it turned out alright. Cut the leather off the stock knob 1’’ from the base.

It looks good. I thought the lip around the collar would have been exposed like other boot collars between the boot and the knob.

Have this sitting in a box still. Deciding if I want to get a custom boot or not but apparently you have to reuse the plastic trim piece at the bottom.

If you get a chance can you get a side by side pic with the stock knob? Thanks!

Honestly I think that looks very average and I wouldn't be happy with that personally however I understand the issues. I have a Raceneg knob to fit and although I have their collar to use I don't really like it either. Part of the issue with yours and in general is that the cable tie used to secure the boot adds too much dia to the area where the boot is retained, even the low profile ones and I've spent some time considering how to get around this. I was originally going to use some lockwire to hold the boot but even then the tail on the lockwire adds diameter and you need to deal with the sharp end. After some thought about a possible material to replace the cable tie I thought about using dental floss. The stuff is super strong and when you tie it off in a knot the knot is super small and add almost nothing to the diameter and you should lose all the bulk of the cable tie under the boot which would look way better.
In my case I also don't want the shifter to be any longer than std and would actually prefer a bit shorter so I've got some titanium in the workshop and I'll make my own threaded adaptor and collar. Just need the time.

Took the time to install today. Sorry for the dark pics just finished in the garage.

I messed around with the boot. At first it was too long so I shortened it a bit and it reaches all gears fine. Reaches 6th with just enough slack.

Word of advice, this knob gets cold on these winter nights! “If you’re cold, they’re cold!” XD
