MT Shift Knob Options (NOT Raceseng)

Semi-related, but I already have a Raceseng knob and adapter, but no boot collar.

Anyone know if I can just pair another boot collar like Likewise with Raceseng's kit? Or do I need to order the Raceseng collar before they close down.

On their site now and wanted to see what options you picked to get this spec. Also mind me asking how much did it run you?

Its the BMW piston in bronze Ti with a custom engraving, so $213. The listing isn't that clear, but it comes with a threaded adapter similar to racesengs.

Hey checkout this site says they have the collar in stock. Raceseng doesn’t have the non threaded collar in stock anymore.

This one I’m consider getting as the leather goes well with the stock boot but my worry is billetworkz doesn’t sell a boot collar so I wonder what that would look like in application?

Nope all of those are threaded to raise/lower the height of the knob. Need a non threaded collar for our shifter application. I’ve emailed them asking if they sell anything. Coincidentally I just heard back from sportshifters that their custom knobs do come with a collar and shaft adapter included with purchase. Checking on lead time now for orders.

So I stand corrected, billetworkz says their vw boot collar will work for supra shifters. Sportshifters got back to me and said they are 8 weeks out currently on new orders so yeah I’m gonna go with billetworkz.

I ordered the billetworkz fusion in leather matte black with 6 speed pattern. I’ll let y’all know how install goes and how it looks. No ETA on delivery yet but hopefully not too long.

I've been contemplating this one but haven't for a few reasons.

It's a bit on the heavy side and didn't want it to make shifting into gears a vague feeling. Also, was hoping it would be available in perforated leather to match the steering wheel. I can't tell if it's much bigger than the stock knob either; I wouldn't want it any larger.

I'd be interested to hear your feedback on these issues.

I have a brand new, boxed Raceng Contour knob and shift collar which I am going to sell if anyone's interested. 100% brand new and never installed. Just opened to inspect. I'm too lazy to add it to the classified section but will do at some point. If you are particularly keen, please reach out and I'll stop being lazy about it.

No engraving on knob. All in original boxes, etc.

Got it all installed today. I like it. It’s a significant change in weight from stock.

Install was pretty straight forward. I followed this install thread for raceseng that worked great. I bought the vw boot collar billetworkz sells.
