I was set on finding a Strato Blue with hazelnut, but now wondering if it's the right choice. I am blessed to have obtained an allocation, but I have 2-3 months before the car is expected to arrive.

1. Don't love the hazelnut on the steering wheel. I imagine this will get dirty quick vs black leather.
2. Not sure how the hazelnut interior will age. It might feel fashionable now, but I think black is safe.
3. Might be more difficult to match the hazelnut interior with modifications?? Would be simple to change interior parts (shifter boot, shifter, carpet, etc.) with any accented stitching on a black interior. Options may be limited with the hazelnut interior.

Wanted to get some feedback from owners on either of these interiors. If someone has personal experience around both of these interiors, your opinion is even more valuable to me. Ultimately, I'm sure it will come down to personal preference, but hoping for some insight from owners. Perhaps what you hate or love with your color interior, things you noticed after living with your GR Supra, etc. Thanks.

When the A91MT came out a friend of mine got one, i do like the interior quite a bit, it hides some of the texture of the leather so it looks smoother, but i didn't like the wheel. When I learned the 24 in the US had blue over hazelnut I got pretty excited, but Canada didn't end up getting it. So I got a Strat over black over and honestly I didn't think about the hazelnut after, I would say the black interior does not look great if it gets shiny and dusty but the weekly dust wipe and a quick clean with interior cleaner it stays nice and matte. Since there are very nice quality nappa leather covers you can get from Alea, I plan on changing the cover to either a Dove grey, Caramel or blue leather seats when the covers get worn. I'd say don't stress much about the hazelnut interior since the black can look great, only other consideration is maybe hazelnut cars might be worth 1-2k more than a black interior car 10 years from now, that's if the rest of the car is stock and clean :p. If you really want hazelnut then wait for it.

I think the hazelnut leather interior would look fantastic against the blue exterior. That would be my choice. You can always change the steering wheel (many nice options).

In my Supra I found the solid black leather seats to be very boring and upgraded to the Alea red nappa leather (wanting contrast and a pop of color). They provided me with the original perfect condition black oem covers as well.

I was just looking at the Alea leather seat thread with your posts. Very nice choice of color, my friend. That definitely pops! Especially with your Tungsten exterior color, don't think you could've gone with a better seat color.

Regarding the hazelnut seats, I like that it is two tone with the black suede inserts. Looks less boring. I think perforated leather would've been nicer though.

~ Should you go the suggested route... and you ever decide you don't like the hazelnut ... I would gladly exchange them for my mint black leather covers. Maybe that would push you in favor of the suggested hazelnut leather. I think you'll love it once you have it (contrasting combo). ?

Options. ?

Hi all, super old thread sorry to dig up but am I tripping or is there really a difference to the a91 cognac tan and the now hazelnut orange-ish tan? Or is the lighting/my eyes playing tricks on me? I’m looking to swap my black interior of the hazelnut but what I see online the color varies at least to my eyes.

They are the same. May look different in pictures due to lighting or camera settings.

I ultimately ended up going with strato blue and hazelnut interior. Love the interior and glad that I went with this. In real life, I think the color looks more like the bottom picture above. It is definitely more tan and less orange.

Thanks! I figured it was just the lighting/eyes playing tricks on me. Found a set of hazelnut seats on eBay but the condition and price isn’t great. Checking now to see if it’s just better to reupholster my seats in tan or not.
