  1. 3D Print Options for the Supra

Great work, wish I had the time to learn this stuff. A few points. I would angle the vertical outboard leading edge back at maybe 45 degrees or so. Looks like the vertical mounting face is back angled already and could do with a little more. Both for aesthetics. Might just be the image...
  2. Heated the trunk a bit too much.

You are of course correct and have articulated what I was trying to say. Somewhere between my brain and the keyboard things got reversed. For this reason I always use clear tank protectors on all my bikes. You use a patterned or fake carbon one and you prevent the scratches but can't escape the...
  3. Heated the trunk a bit too much.

There's a mechanics job at a dealership with your name on it. ;) Phil
  4. Heated the trunk a bit too much.

The paints going to be faded under it anyway if it's on for a reasonable amount of time. Phil
  5. Heated the trunk a bit too much.

I think you've taken it to another level. Phil
  6. What did you do to your Supra today?

Looks like it's not on straight or is it just the image? Phil
  7. “Engine Oil Pressure Too Low”

Cool thanks. Looks legit then for sure. Before I bought my DD a few years ago I was researching VW Tiguans and the 2.0 l engine was up to about it's 14 iteration of plastic bodied water pump. They generally last about 50-60K miles. Anyway I was thinking why not just make them out of aluminium...
  8. “Engine Oil Pressure Too Low”

Id like to actually see the internals of the new pump and the supposed new sintered metal control ring. Never heard of the material change until now. Not saying it's wrong but with all the discussion about it I've not seen any images of the new pump internals. Plenty of broken composite ones but...
  9. What did you do to your Supra today?

Cheerios and bulk toilet paper, natural companions  Congrats on your retirement. I retired at 56 and have never had so much shit to do ever since. Phil
  10. What did you do to your Supra today?

Gotta walk before you can run:drive:I'm working my way up to a proper BMW or I might skip the BM and go straight to an Audi ? Phil
  11. What did you do to your Supra today?

I fitted this engine cover. Bought from a member here  Phil
  12. CTEK and Battery SOC

I'm assuming your battery is 4-5 years old now considering you have a 2020 model and the battery was replaced by the dealer when the car was still new, correct? If so and the battery is still working fine then you could carry on with it but in my experience 5 years old the battery is getting...
  13. Maxton V4 front lip - Excellent product A+

Well nuts are a very good option and if installed correctly the lip won't detach even at 150mph. Some of my track bikes use well nuts to hold the entire fairing on at speeds well over 150mph. No issues at all. Phil
  14. Wheel bearing sound, need help diagnosing

You can also isolate the side a wheel bearing is failing by driving in a straight line on smooth asphalt and initiating a turn in either direction and listening. The bad side will make more noise under the load of initiating a turn. Most "bad" wheel bearings in my experience end up being tyre...
  15. My First real issue in 15k Miles. Failed Driveshaft Center Bearing

I'd bet the Giubo went first and then the ctr bearing was a consequence of that. Phil
  16. Oil where the intake attaches to the turbo

Looks like there is a connector on the hose in the image? Phil
  17. Oil where the intake attaches to the turbo

Is the connector clicked in fully? Phil
  18. Oil leak from charge pipe

It'll be oil from the PCV system. Phil
  19. Twisted Tuning A90/A91/Z4 Upgraded Engine Mounts

There's a reason the OEM spends hundreds of hours in R&D testing and development of engine mounts. You're experiencing what happens when aftermarket manufacturers don't do any meaningful R&D. Phil
  20. Anyone want to trade a supra?

I thought it was a 56 as well but thought maybe there was a year model cross over or something I wasn't aware of? Don't know. I much prefer the 56 models without the big winged tail lights Phil
