Doesn't even look like it's formed a drip so it's not leaking it's just a bit of perspiration :)
Reminds me of an old aircraft engineers saying with regards to radial engine oil leaks. "you only start to worry when they're not leaking oil cause that means it's run out" lol.

I guess because how much F'ing around do you want in your life? Every trip to the dealer is a pita not only with regards to risk but also disruption to your daily life. We all know what it is and the risk in almost zero.
Phil
Why don't you make a deal with the stupid dealer. Get them to remove the oil pump and if it's not broken then you will pay for a new updated pump which is a good idea anyway. If they find it broken then it's a Toyota warranty claim.
The more the dealer works on it the greater the risk. When...
Just do it yourself. The paint is easy the sanding if it's not already done is a bit of a pain I'll admit. Here you'd be lucky to find someone to even do a small job like that so you don't have much choice and that's a grand in your pocket for the Supra modification account.
The wife and I just...
It's just amusing to me, not a serious comment but painting the walls and ceilings ceilings make a big difference to the lighting with the main door closed or at night. The bare drywall is a light absorber.
Phil
Does anybody in the US have a garage with the dry walls painted? Every internal garage image I see seems to have unpainted bare drywall. It's almost like there's a law against painting them

These AGM batteries if they are still ok and have been let discharge really need to be connected to a proper battery charger and have some solid amperage applied to them. Use a load tester first and see what it's health is.
Phil
I'd try the sand and seal first. What have you got to lose. In the aviation industry on commercial jets we used to sand and polish a lot of plastic components like the passenger cabin windows to remove crazing. We also did the wing tip navigation light fairings to remove erosion, crazing and...
Funny, as bystanders at the pedestrian crossing are covering their ears and looking like an explosion is about to happen. It will only get worse as it gets older.
Phil
Buy yourself one of these and load test the battery. Everyone should own one in these times where batteries are so critical to a cars or motorcycles operation. Load test the battery every 6 months or so and replace the battery before it fails and leaves you stranded or starts causing weird...
Except of course the more times the dealer works on the car the more likelihood of them messing something up. Isn't there any BMW SB or Tech notice to support the high OP and inability to read qty is a failed oil pump
Yea, but you know software
I'm assuming the historical oil change data is now missing and the system can't calculate the oil wear data. Can you reset the oil change required notification to zero it out or does it need to actually be presented to do that?
Phil
I tell you what I would do. I'd release the park brake and shut the car down and leave it for 45minutes. I'd then disconnect the battery for 10 min and then reconnect it and see what the outcome is then.
