This is the level of the intelligence over there.

Doesn't seem to realize that functionally from a driving perspective, that an F1 transmission...
The guy in the comments who said it would be more fair to compare the base Z and the 2.0l made me laugh even harder. The irony is that in some situations the 2.0l would still probably win out over that open diff unbalanced car. Can't wait for those comparisons to start popping up.
The empathy...
It's going to depend on total production numbers. I kept waiting for the 4C to plummet because of dismal sales, and now they are up from their bottom with no signs of ever going down. Missed that ship, now I have a Supra. Time will tell.
I already do this and watch my rear view giving me some space in case I think I'm about to get ass ended.
This shit is unreal though, yet it happened to my wife in an MR-2 one time. I don't know what the fuck people think they are doing reversing like that in the middle of the road.
I was able to glean some of this just from the reactions of 'tubers driving the Z and not really giving reviews. Every time they'd get on the throttle the backend would start to step out and they'd giggle.
The "20k cheaper Z" vs a 3.0 Supra on an actual road track will be comically left...
Because when you are marketing a car as a "Zupra Killer", anything less than 382hp wouldn't have made much sense when the rest of your overweight 20 year old chassis, with it's Merc transmission and open-diff makes for a harder sell.
Maybe? Just guessing really.
Japanese makers are always coy...
The biggest problem is how many memberships are there, and how busy it is. If you can never use it because someone else already has their shit in there ...
Competition is great. I don't want everyone to drive the same car. At the same time, we were just bombarded for the last year with "Zupra Killer" propaganda. It's really looking like it's not. I think we can revel in that, and call those people out.
I'm assuming you have "Lock Doctor" type places where you live. They are probably more knowledgeable than the dealers are. I've watched these guys show how easy it is to steal cars even with all the modern protections. If anyone can find you an alternative solution, they probably can.
I was a bit insecure for the last year, but the end result is a more boring car to look at that just barely keeps up on the track.
If this the best they came up with, with a 3 year advantage. "Ok".
After spending the last couple of years listening to the hype, and watching it fail in almost every head to head competition on youtube so far, it's almost embarrassing that the only thing left to argue about is that "it's cheaper". Even though it really isn't, at least in Canada.
Even...
Thanks for some of the links and pics, I didn't mean the EXACT SAME spoiler, but a gooseneck in the same style. Hadn't seen many gooseneck options so far. :) I kind of liked the little bit of the less of everything approach on the GT4 RS, most goosenecks seem massive, this one more subtle.
