This thing is controlled entirely by computers. If the manufacturer was really concerned about engine break-in, why wouldn't they just electronically control the engine to 4500 rpms and disable the sport mode button until 1200 miles?
I don't even know if ICBC does this (in BC)?
I LOL'd when I got my insurance. I thought she punched the wrong car in. It's the cheapest car to insure that I own.
Dealer offered the 4 year service plan for $1600. Claimed it was the same as the rest of the lineup.
I normally decline every "extra" and did so by default. I'm considering if it makes sense now because I assume services on this might be a bit higher than your typical Corolla.
Anyone else do...
I declined the 4yr service contract from my Toyota dealer, but they said it was the same cost as every other Toyota they sell. Perhaps I should take them up on it. $1600 CDN or so.
I think MisterSkiz is right. Feels like a 4-5 year run and done. Like the MR2 Spyder. I suppose it's possible for a bumper change at some point, but I suspect Toyota being Toyota any bumper change would be more muted/stand out less. My random guess.
I've not studied these lights closely, but based on my knowledge of the JDM cars I've imported, the NA ones will have more reflectors, and any integrated bulbs/LEDs will be brighter (have a higher wattage).
