Looks like it would be at least 800tq/1000hp going by clutch pack count. Billet 7075 C and E hubs as well, so those won’t shatter for drag guys.
They don’t tell us about what clutch packs they’re using, so that makes it a little questionable. Whether they’re using cheaper or OEM clutch packs...
Not necessarily, a cloned DME is a lot more versatile in general. A bench unlock is a lot cheaper if you have to flash back to stock for whatever reason, like smog.
Also allows you to switch your tuning platform without resending your post June DME back to Femto.
I’ll try to get a proper write up soon. I figured out how to code out the knee airbag and steering wheel.
I want to make a complete guide on replacing the steering wheel with an aftermarket one. Which includes either coding out the airbag, or replacing them with resistors.
The US spec airbag...
I think xhp keeps you in gear/manual? Not sure.
I also heard the M-DCT shifter from the F87, or the M-ZF shifter from the X3/5M don’t kick you out of gear. I haven’t done the swap myself though so I can’t confirm that.
I very rarely track my Supra, (only three times) and when I have I have...
So I purchased the BDC3 version of the module. However so far I’ve come across two issues I’m trying to get around.
1) Our cars are NBT Evo HU and DKombi2 cluster
G20s use DKombi4 with the MGU head unit. Same thing with the G80s. That makes it difficult to just plug and play the settings like...
They should fit fine, but the door panel controls are going to be driver side, so you could either have dummy window controls on the passenger side, or swap the plastic control panel. The plastic panel with the controls isn't easily interchangeable either, I think it's plastic welded together...
No, the instructions in this guide only disable the seat airbag for the respective seats. So coding out you seat airbags, position, and mat will not affect the side curtain, knee, and passenger front airbags.
If you disable zuendkreis_1, it will ONLY disable the driver seat airbag. Disabling...
Definitely good advice, I personally wouldn't run it. I saw it on amazon and thought "oh they copied RP's IM".
I didn't mean to imply RP wasn't worth getting at all. with RP you get a very reasonably priced manifold with a large core. Not to mention their quality assurance and support.
What I...

Video of the setup. Unsure if it'll work for anyone else. as mentioned, I'll try to make another video later showing that leaving the receptacle and resistor will trigger the airbag/harness lights and error, and that putting them in, as well as clearing DTCs.
I swapped out my drivers seat for an aftermarket Bride seat, with Bride MO rails.
While with the drivers seat harness (the one that is connected to the car) initially unplugged, I received the airbag and driver restraint error (as expected).
However, I plugged in the seatbelt receptacle into...
If they don't, you can flash the S58 M3 CSL TCU software, or any of S58 car that has an HP76 via E-SYS. It'll probably work fine.
You don't need to touch the mechatronics unit PCB to install it onto another BMW. It's quite literally plug-and-play in terms of installation, unless you're going...
One of the neat things about going with an aftermarket TCU like the TurboLamik/HTG/Maxx is that there's programming for a trans brake and pseudo clutch. Apparently it's similar to the transbrake function on the 8HP Mopar cars.
For some reason it's not possible to do with the factory BMW TCU...
I’ve been looking at the swap, here in the UAE it’s a bit difficult to build the trans. There are a couple of places that do it, but they charge upwards of $4k in labor alone. Meanwhile an HP75/76 can be found on the low side of $1500.
From what I gathered the bell housing and mounts are the...
iDrive 7 doesn't use the NBT EVO headunit that we have on the Supra, it uses the MGU headunit. So getting iDrive 7 means swapping the headunit.
At minimum AFAIK for the swap you need a clean/virgin MGU headunit, the ID7 screen, and the 4th gen Bosch cluster. There's some wiring involved in...
