Are there any photos besides the vague ones on the Project Gamma demo Supra?
It doesn't seem like anyone who pre-ordered theirs from PG directly for $1000 received them yet.
Kind of looks bad if they're actually shipping them now for people who are paying full price, while the crowd funders...
Currently running OTS Stage 2, will go custom tune once I go big turbo/Reflex support comes out. If I had to choose, I'd probably say either Justin@Twisted or MGF themselves. BMW guys seem like they preferred Navardi, Marin, and Motiv; but it's been a while since the community's been active with...
It used to be popular in the BMW tuning scene, it was one of the first options that had Custom Code. Development had slowed down a lot, so it fell behind BM3 and MHD in terms of coding options.
Custom Code 7.1 recently came out, so you get all the cool features on the Supra. I’m actually using...
Any chance if I can ask how you got the AUX option? I figured out where the standard AUX would plug into the headunit, but I could never find an exact answer on the software side.
I'm not running JB4, but if you're looking to cut costs, you really don't need an EcuTek tune.
BM3 comes with an OTS map at $595, and MHD with OTS maps is $433. The stock intake flows just fine, and would cost just as much as a bench unlock, if you happen to need one.
I haven’t replaced mine, but afaik the only aftermarket one is the VTT valve cover.
However, it completely deletes the air/oil separator in the valve cover, effectively deleting the PcV system. Therefore it basically requires you to vent the PCV and CCV system, so you’d need to run an open...
Long story short: You don't need the Visconti kit, but the Visconti kit comes with everything you need to get started with port injection, excluding the fuel rail. There's other kits, such as the TMS kit. The only thing these kits do is make it much easier to install the Reflex unit. (I think...
Someone here fit F80 seats, so the seat rails from an F80 should be fine. https://www.supramkv.com/threads/itching-a-curiosity-f8x-seats-in-supra.20112/
Personally I'm using E89/E90 seat rails. Seems like BMW hasn't changed the seat position.
HGK has a kit for Winter's Differential, which was used on the Papadakis car. Along with the Fort 8.8 swap by SLG.
IIRC Marc from Pterodactyl Tactics mentioned using one of the E9X differentials for the 2JZ swapped Supra.
I’m pretty sure that if the DME is post 06/2020 it has to get sent back to Femto. But like if it was already running BM3 CustomROM, you could flash the regular MHD.
Pre 06/2020 you could switch between CustomROM and MHD+ with no problem.
There's a couple of videos on youtube
At $849 though I think I'd rather go VLAND.
I think these would look cool if these turned off the innermost or outermost light so that it would only turn on during lane change like an animation.
Not 100% sure but I think the version of Toyota ISTA is the one only used for diagnostics. I'm pretty sure you'd need to use ESYS. However, that's my only experience. I couldn't find the coding options usually available in BMW ISTA. I've used ESYS to get a second hand cluster to work.
Not sure if it's the right code you're looking for. Afaik, the upholstery code for the interior with leather seats is MARS, for the red interior. Black with leather seats is MASW. Not sure about the designation for cognac, A91 blue stitching, and alcantara seats.
I'd recommend using Toyota GTS if anyone faces any struggles with Techstream. Not sure if it's any different, but all I really had to do is register as an "independent repairer".
I contacted through the toyota-tech website and they said just to choose Albania from the country options when you...
Tbh it's a good example of a cleanly installed Pandem kit. A lot of them have apparent hardware and horrible panel gaps, especially in the trunk section.
Honestly though, wide bodying a totaled car would have been better than an A91-CF.
