Found this if anyone's interested, it's been sitting on eBay for a while. Would have picked it up myself but figured $400 on shipping + forwarding is as much as a brand new exhaust.
The B57 oil pan has a dip stick. The oil pan between whatever is on the G05 B57 cars is the same as the one on the supra. So if one really wanted a dipstick, you could probably just swap over one of the B57 parts over with no problems. It retains the electronic oil sensors so I doubt anything...
I don't think someone's mentioned this yet. But I was doing some research on MG Flasher, seems like it can flash back to stock without re-locking the DME, requiring a bench unlock. Not sure if this works for >06/20 DMEs, but it seems like something worth looking into.
Looking for a 6-Port, preferably T4 exhaust manifold.
Had a guy who knew a guy who said he could fab up a manifold and DP. $3K and 5 months later and he's all he's come up with just a CNC'd flange. Tried going asking other fab places, but they're quoting over $5K for the manifold alone. Would...
No, it's not. The 740i did have a Gen 2 B58 revision, which your post mentions. However, the ECU CTNlMF sent is the Gen 1 B58 version, for the 740i. Moreover, it's the same ECU revision used on the 540i and 640i, which only have the Gen 1 B58 had a Gen 1 B58 revision...
Found a couple of good DMEs on eBay the past year, and got one of them, not sure if they're there anymore, but looking at scrap part auctions and just searching on eBay for generic terms like "BMW DME", "BMW ECU" or "BMW ECM" maybe adding other modifiers like 2019/2020 etc.
Check for some cars...
No problem. This one's a N63 DME. An easy way to check are the 0261 numbers. Usually you'll find old listings or online tuning files that tells you what engine it goes to. Alternatively the big numbers like "9844147". Both numbers always tell which engine the DME goes to.
Not my image, but it ends up looking like this basically when you 'swap' the units in the settings, where both are visible. The speed units on the HUD though change to whatever unit you have selected.
IMO the real benefit for now is that it's honestly the only option if you want to 600+.
There's the whole Motiv/BM3 beef, meaning unless someone codes a Reflex firmware for BM3, we're forced to wait until the Rev2 board comes out. And that's assuming it's better than the Reflex.
MHD has been...
Sorry to say but these are all bad AFAIK. I might be wrong but I've been looking at compatible ECUs for way too long.
An easy way to weed 90% of non compatible ECUs out are either the dates and the beginning text. 0261 are petrol/gasoline ECUs, while 0281 are diesel. This probably isn't a rule...
Honestly hoping to get a final MY when it comes out. the 2022 is great, but it'll be cool to see the final improvements. Not sure if it'd be worth selling the Supra. Hoping it doesn't end up becoming a 350Z/370Z type of car.
I don't have a 2.0, but has anyone tried the Big Boost Turbo kit on the Supra?
Afaik, it uses the electronic wastegate, so functionally it should be like swapping in a pure 850. Run E30, throw in a JB4 to dial in extra boost, and a meth kit for additional fueling.
Does anyone know which tail lights these are?

Seller claims they are from overseas, but I haven't seen these for sale at all.
