  1. â–ş APEX | ML-10RT Now Available for Pre-Order

As much as I would have preferred an 18” fitment, those gallery pics of the motorsports gold 19” are ?! Can’t wait for January and then more so for the return of summer performance tire season.
  2. Is a 2024/2025 Supra a good choice for a daily driver?

My counterpoint to the blind spot comments is that properly adjusted mirrors are your friend. If your side mirrors are adjusted to show the side of your car instead of what’s behind/next to it then you’re doing it wrong. If the blind spots were such a dramatic issue, there’d be nobody in a Supra...
  3. Is a 2024/2025 Supra a good choice for a daily driver?

The Supra is great as a primary daily driver IF you own more than one vehicle. Otherwise, there will be always be times that you need more storage or passenger space. If you have a second vehicle or are willing to borrow or rent a larger vehicle when needed, then the Supra is great as a daily...
  4. Catless Downpipe with 3.5" Full Throughput

SHS by Fabworx offers a GESI G-Sport Ultra High Output catted downpipe with options…4.5” to 4” or 4.5” to full 4” vband to mate directly to their 4” exhaust systems using their in house vband assembly which will eliminate the factory 3.25” slip joint. Looks like you have to email them to get the...
  5. RECALL - Data Communication Module (DCM) Update

Had the update done on my 2023 at my dealership. Took two appointments and at least 6hrs of total time. First appointment, the tech struggled for three hours only to reach the conclusion that their computer needed updates…which would take 7hrs due to their slow Internet connection. If only the...
  6. â–ş APEX | ML-10RT Now Available for Pre-Order

Here’s to poor financial decisions. ? Was going to go for an 18” square setup, but these just look too good and had to go 19”. Always wanted a monoblock version of a BBS LM-style wheel with some modern machining flare.
  7. Contactless locking/unlocking (coding)

@iambak, I coded this today via Bimmercode and it worked perfectly after going through an ignition cycle. Guessing it didn’t work initially since I had my hood open with a battery tender connected as I usually do with any updates relying on battery power. Works great and I can’t believe the...
  8. Do I really need this at 30k miles?

Use Top Tier rated fuel and/or simply pour a bottle of fuel injector cleaner that contains high amounts of P.E.A. (polyether-amine) into your tank every few thousand miles. The Top Tier fuels are recommended by various auto manufacturers due to a minimum level of detergents included in the fuel...
  9. Should i get paint correction before ppf?

While some PPF brands have an integrated hydrophobic layer, ceramic coating over top of the film is the move. This addresses some of the flatness in appearance you get from transparent plastic sitting on top of a clearcoat and adds some additional UV protection. The coating also helps seal the...
  10. trash site

You’re looking for “hygroscopic”. :) This is also exactly why the wet boiling point is so important since the fluid immediately starts attracting water as soon as it’s out of the sealed container.
  11. Best exhaust systems in the market??

Agreed. I became uninterested after I saw that. In practice it seems to operate like two different single exit systems merged together as opposed to a valved dual exit if that makes sense. Definitely looking more at the SHS or the Ark Performance systems now.
  12. Dash Camera Discussion / What Dash Cams are you guys using?

Viofo A139 Pro front and rear. Works well, but I had known the A229 Pro was about to come out. Would’ve been nice to have a 2K rear Starvis sensor as opposed to 1080P and the other minor improvements.
  13. Removing A-Frame to wire a dash cam

The routing illustration shown earlier looks like it drops the wiring right in front of the side airbag. It’s so easy to remove the a-pillar cover, that I don’t see any real point in avoiding it. Behind the a-pillar cover, there’s an existing wiring harness behind a metal shield that you can...

@GR_supra559 mailed quickly with prompt communication after receiving PayPal payment. The key tags are nice quality. Would definitely do business with this seller again.
  15. GR SUPRA KEYCHAIN 2 new colors

@GR_supra559 Interested in one red and one black, please.
  16. Front PPF and ceramic coating in Tulsa area

I’m using Auto Distinctions to change the color of my roof to gloss black, full front end PPF, paint correction, and ceramic coating. Drove straight from the dealership there. I’ve been happy with their work on a couple other vehicles I own.
  17. Any reason to NOT switch to 5w30?

These days, I’d think the specific oil wouldn’t be the root cause of an issue or it’d be rare. The one exception being systems that are hydraulically actuated by oil. From other platforms, that’s stuff like variable cam timing, lash adjusters, timing tensioners. Those or similar items can be...
  18. Any reason to NOT switch to 5w30?

Just like anything else. Pay to play. You deviate from recommendations or what’s specified by the manufacturer then you accept that you might become your own warranty. ? I don’t advocate fraud, but I suppose you could do an oil change before dropping off the vehicle. Granted, the dealer might...
  19. Any reason to NOT switch to 5w30?

No, I’ve advocated for using oil analysis as a tool for validating an oil’s performance in your particular scenario. If your oil is staying within normal temperature ranges and you have positive oil analysis results then you’re probably already at the point of no or diminishing returns. If...
