Being a PC builder, I love watching Linus but he's an idiot on dashcam. He practically didn't do any research and based his knowledge on Amazon's review..... Here's a channel people should watch when doing research on dashcam and radar detectors.

This was way more in depth than Linus. He does seem to agree with a lot of points brought up by him though.

I came across the Vortex channel recently as well, there's some solid reviews there.

I personally don't really follow Linus Tech Tips, I've also been building PCs for over a decade. Just can't really stand him ?‍

Just got my 45th edition MKV and I am looking into getting a rearview mirror dashcam. What are everyone's thoughts regarding one? I am mostly interested in one because I want to improve visibility with the rear view mirrors since the spoiler can get in the way. I was looking into something like the Pelsee P12 Pro 4K Mirror Dash Cam or Wolfbox G900. Anyone here uses one?

I recently reinstalled the BlackVue DR750-2CH (front and rear) cams off my last BRZ along with the Power Magic Ultra Battery (B-124).

I placed the center lens along the centerline of the car, both front and rear and ran the wires along the headliner and A-pillars down to the glovebox where I have my battery pack and hardwired it to the empty fuse (next to the 12V one) under the passenger side footwell.

I chose the glovebox for the battery pack since I like the ability to reach over and switch it completely off when I park in my garage at home.

Can you show how you ran the wires on the rear windshield? Not sure how to hide the wires from the body of the car to the trunk so there's wire dangling out.

I routed the rear camera wire along the side window and B-pillar interior trims. Just tucked it in with a plastic trim tool.

Wondering if anyone has any experience to share with Fitcamx? It's basically plug and play and draws power from the rain sensor control power plug above the rear view mirror.

Viofo A139 Pro front and rear. Works well, but I had known the A229 Pro was about to come out. Would’ve been nice to have a 2K rear Starvis sensor as opposed to 1080P and the other minor improvements.
