I wouldn’t mind one as a daily if it could be obtained for under $30k…
Stupid thing is the MPG are probably worst than the Supra lol.
GR bZ4x or STI Solterra may be the more interesting choice if they actually make either.
They are racing wheels and are geared for track use. I run TE37s on my Supra as daily beaters, and people have given me shit for that as well. Don’t worry about pleasing people (not that you are).
I personally do not suggest aftermarket-powder coating forged wheels. There is no hard data...
Powder coating Rays Volk Racing products tends to be frowned upon.
You’re better off selling them and just getting the color you ultimately prefer. Or a different model all together.
I’m also on team “Don’t aftermarket-powdercoat forged wheels”…
Bought every overpriced part for my 86 I could find. From an Amuse titanium catback to TRD motion control beams and ARC intake kit.

Recently installed the TRD style Rexpeed V1 lip. Fitment & overall quality genuinely surprised me.

I tried out some Honda/Acura...

Installed my Rexpeed V1 TRD style front lip a couple days ago. Very pleased with how it turned out! Ties in well with all the other gloss carbon fiber bits on the front end.
Install time: ~45 minutes
Install difficulty: 1.5/5
Carbon fiber quality: 9/10
Fitment: 9/10
I did NOT have to remove...
Installed OLM LE carbon fiber pillar covers yesterday. I believe OLM LE is essentially the same company as Revel GT & Axis Parts. This is a good thing.
I have purchased carbon fiber dress up pieces from each of those brands, and the products are always amazing. I also believe they are genuinely...
Here's my "build" thread/photo dump for my A90, Spooky. I am absolutely loving my GR Supra 3.0 experience thus far. I genuinely cannot think of another car I would bother purchasing as a successor in this point of my life. Plan is to daily beat the vehicle for a couple years. Eventually, I'd...
