I don't think the overhangs are short on the concept at all. They're just right. Some overhang makes the car look sleek and not pudgy. I don't want a car that looks like a MINI.

As does the FR-S/BRZ and they're just 2800 lbs.

Great point. The technology developed and implemented in the Supra may not matter or ever get used in the Camry but it sure as hell can help make the next generation FRS or the rumor sub-FRS sports car even better than if no MKV Supra was ever developed. So yes Toyota overall really benefits...

My favorite improvement over the MKIV is how short the FT-1 overhangs are. Most cars look sportier and aggressive this way.
