    No way no how. RC-F is a Lexus and it doesn't have the Supra's legacy to live up to. It'll have more performance than the RC-F all around and that calls for a MT or DCT.

    Great news! im hoping it is not just a different color but some actual sheet metal changes. I can't imagine why it would need to be commissioned if it just involves different paint.

    I love the message at the end to get Toyota to build the car. I hope influential guys like Leno with his fan base keep pushing that agenda and I hope Toyota is listening.

    It might be fun but I think it'd get old like playing a video game after a while. And if you dont build a manual you're losing that part of the potential buyers who will only buy a sports car with manual (like me). Guess Toyota bean counters will weigh the potential extra sales from offering...

    Yep and I dont have a prob with that. If the FT-1 makes it thru concept and production with that nose, I will be pretty happy. As of now it does not look like anything else on the road.

    ... and not a Roadster? A BMW spokesperson just confirmed that they are in talks with Toyota about a roadster.

    The ft-1 concept does is unique looking (sharing a few similarities with the fr-s) but it does look like other Calty designs. Check out the NS4 concept they showed at the '12 detroit auto show... it should look a little familiar.
