The Z4, at least in North America is supposed to be more powerful than the Supra (382 hp VS 335) and this dyno seems to confirm this (Z4 - 365-370 hp VS Supra - 332-339hp). The difference isn't as much as the claimed hp numbers would suggest though.
It also raises the question, was the Z4...
Or, like you, these two cannot get over the BMW collaboration, and that clouds their entire persepective and judgement of the car, making them unable to review it "objectively".
Personally, I'll accept the 20 positive reviews and take the 1 or 2 negatives with a grain of salt.
I think it's a stretch to say the Supra was built for the very purpose of being modified. Yes, Toyota knows it will happen with some owners, and they have built it so that it's modifiable friendly, but I doubt any of them would claim its purpose is to be modified. To do that would open up this...
It seems to me we must be getting the same car as the USA Launch Editions, minus some of the cosmetic touches, such as black wheels, red mirror caps and autographed dash plate. The fact that their LE's and our Premium cars arrived at respective ports around the same time (Long Island; New...
Here's a short video showing the processing of the Toyota Yaris at the Halifax Autoport, for those interested. Gives some idea of what our Supras will be going through.

Nice find! I agree with you. You can also see the exact same crane in the exact same location in the top left of the google map, and the posted picture.
Haha I saw that same picture and thought the same thing. It's the background in the pictures I can't verify, but, it certainly could be Halifax. There aren't a lot of pictures of the port to compare with. I'm thinking of asking my sister to go there and do some snooping, she lives in that area.
It could be, but I've searched images of the port, and can't find any other image that looks like that, with that background.....that is not conclusive by any means, though.
I agree it looks great, but how will it be over the winter-fied roads of northern states and Canada, that warp and buckle and pot-hole due to frost and snow-plow damage?
Every time my phone rings, in the back of my mind I'm wondering if this is the Toyota dealership telling me the car is here, lol (or information on an actual delivery date)
Was just reading through Bimmerpost, people are saying their experiences with BMW's, from port to dealer, anywhere between 2-14 days, the maximum was 1 month.
