The car looks significantly lowered. Going over some bumps and uneven-ness, it almost looks like its going to bottom-out. This is one of the mods I'd definitely like to do, but I wonder how much you could lower it before it starts to interfere with daily drivability?
Awesome. I read somewhere else on this site there was a pre-production Supra at the Cars and Coffee in Toronto this past weekend - maybe it's that car.
Launch Edition cars have arrived at some Toyota dealers in the USA (according to another thread). I wonder if this means cars are arriving earlier than expected? I'm hoping we will receive cars in Canada before Aug. 1
So does this mean delivery of LE cars in the USA sooner than expected? I'm interested in this, because if this is so, perhaps we can all expect our cars sooner than the worst case scenarios told to us previously of "late summer" (possibly Fall).
I don't think it is your opinion in and of itself that causes tension, it's how you seem to choose to be ignorant of the fact that opinions DO cause tension. People often cannot accept that others do not have the same opinion. This is normal. This is human. I'd wager it is the opinions here that...
You're oversimplifying this and you know you are. It is not that you have a different opinion, it is that you are constantly expressing it, knowing it is going to cause tension. Express your opinion, (which happened months ago), and move on.
The fact is, this is a community, and the general consensus of this community is a favourable and positive one for the new Supra. If this were a face to face community, you would know your "opinion" is against the grain, and unless you're a sociopath, would not be so liberal in expressing it...
You've expressed your opinion a thousand times. Everyone knows it. It has some validity, with some people, but not the majority, apparently. The car is out now, and the constant mud slinging and moaning and groaning does nothing, except sustain toxicity. The fact that you are challenged...
Yes, the other thing is that the car is significantly cheaper here, with only 5% tax. If the car comes after Aug 1, I'm sure I could get it, but it would require flying back here alast minute, and paying for it to be shipped to Toronto. Really hoping it comes before Aug 1!!
Do you have any idea what the demand/waiting list is like in Toronto? I'm in Alberta, and am first in line with a deposit here, but am now moving back to Toronto Aug 1. I was hoping I'd get the car before I left, but it looks like I probably won't, putting me back to square 1, at the end of...
There is so much oversimplification and spin in your diatribe I won't even bother countering any specific point. But here's an idea. There is no "right" or "wrong" or reality. You are biased in a certain way as much as those you accuse of bias. Everyone's perspective is influenced by their...
I saw a Z4 at a local dealership and the fit and finish was impeccable. The paint is by far better than any other BMW I've seen. Panel fit and gaps were all tight. There is a recent comparison between the Z4 and Caymen Boxter in Car and Driver magazine, they gave the Z4 a 9 for fit and finish...
And also ask yourself if you really care? It's a bit of a tragedy if you can't get past that sentimental drivel about heritage and halo, to be able to see the car more objectively. He is asking journalists to view the car objectively, while ignoring the fact this his own perceptions are as...
Oh really? My dealership. where I have a deposit, had an order sheet for the car, and it did indicate black and white had the red interior. I saw the online order form myself. I was very surprised, bc I equated the red interior to the USE LE. What you says makes more sense, but then I don't...
