I think it will be roped off, like it was in Montreal and Toronto. So, no sitting. I have heard if you pay the 150$ or so for the opening Gala, you can sit in any car. Not completely sure if this is accurate or not. I don't think I need to sit in it (although I would like to), so I'm not...
I think the driver assist is just a few extra sensors/camera's, though. This shouldn't really add that much weight. Does anyone know? It's mostly electronics, no hard, heavy mechanical bits, I believe. I wouldn't think it would add more than 10 lbs?
I want it as long as it doesn't add weight. I'm not sure where the 120 extra pounds comes from between the Base and Premium USA cars, but it is significant. As someone else wrote here, in Canada, we have no choice; if we did, I'd be going for the equivalent of the US base car. I hear leather...
Hi Everyone,
I've been commenting on this site for a couple of months, watching for about 6. I had a 93 RX7 when I was 18 (came into some money, and did the smart/stupid thing, went out and bought a sports car), bought off the showroom floor, the envy of all my friends :-) I had to sell it...
With the exception of the Matte Gray all of the colors are pretty standard, traditional colors, none of the metalic oranges or vibrant electric blues you see in BMW's lineup or on the Corvette, for example. The yellow is faded-orange/school-bus, the blue is too dark to stand out, and the rest...
Does anyone know if this is indeed the main reason for the HP difference? If it is just a filter, is it then just a matter of swapping the Supra filter with the US/Canada Z4 filter, and achieve the same 382 hp with the Supra B58?
And thankful for it. Who can afford those other cars? If the Supra had the performance numbers of those other cars, I wouldn't be able to afford one. We should be aplauding Toyota for offering a reasonably affordable high performance sports car.
Aren't these pictures from the stock GR Supra? I saw pics of a stock GR Supra showing the same thing, so the car does have brake cooling ducts, the front vent is just part of the lower front opening, rather than the teardrop vents below the headlights.
He says at the end of "part 1" is has plenty of power, it has 335 hp, but feels like ..........and then it cuts off. Does anyone know what number he says there? Overall, very complimentary comments by Leno.
What makes you so sure about this? And if this is true, why does it only span about 1/2 of the "door garnish"? Also, it is completely flat, it literally only raises above the surface of the surrounding metal by 2-3 mm or so. So, I don't see how or what it would be sealing.
I'm not saying...
Yeah, and air is a gas.....which means it bends and conforms to whatever shape its contained in or moved through. The location of the side vent would have no impact on where the air was directed.
No. The weather seal is on the inside of the door jamb, closer to the driver. Search pictures of the door open where it shows the door jamb. At top half, on the outside portion of the door jamb there is a rather large black rubber or plastic strip, covering something. I noticed this the first...
