I disagree. I thought and still do that the GT86 achieved what it set out to do very well and for what you get it’s not badly priced. Maybe a little high but not bad and it has genuine Toyota and Subaru developed parts. The injection system is all Toyota while the engine is Subaru. Both...
The thing is Japan has been pretty steady since then and the economic downturn of the 90s was due to borrowing. When I company is making billions in pure profit there’s not much reason to cop out on your own design unless you’re really cowardly and don’t care about your customer base.
That’s one way to increase reliabilty lol although why would you put something awesome in something nowhere near as good looking as the car it came out of?
True but my point is still if the tank was better place or designed then it wouldn’t have caught fire and he wouldn’t have died. Plus it’s a Carrea GT with supposedly more modern safety features (apart from the death tank under the passenger seat) if nick hogan can survive going over 100mph in a...
Nope this was debunked, the presenters made a mistake.
I thought the whole showcase was poor honestly. The camera was stuck in portrait....
The price isn’t justified in the U.K. at all. Totally overpriced but then most German cars are. £10k is usually the number by which these cars are...
My point was only that the Carrera GT IS poorly designed from a safety aspect and it’s design was the cause of Paul Walkers death. I’m not saying he wouldn’t have sustained huge injuries but it was specifically the fire that killed him. I honestly can’t believe Porsche won based on that huge...
That’s actually a decent response ;)
Only thing I will say is that in the U.K. the prices are different and as I’ve said before this does make the A90 more attractive in the states.
That does not explain the cheap materials used on a full tank mounted within the firewall! Which caused the fire that caused them to die. The coroner confirmed they were alive before the fire burned them to death. The crash alone would not have caused it.....
I suspect BMW had the better end of the arrangement. I also doubt they would allow their brand new engine to go in the Supra when it’s destined for the M3..
The fact they said that the Z4 was quicker on the release day of the supra says a lot.
