Why did Toyota include the black part surrounding (and inside) the Toyota logo? Why not just have it in chrome just like on previous concepts, just like the GR Supra Racing Concept. But the Supra NASCAR race car, it also has that black portion surrounding the logo. I wonder why.... It doesn’t...
For me, it is best if Toyota doesn’t introduce the inline-4 anymore. It would just ruin the Supra’s tradition of having all inline-6 engines, back to the A40. The Supra has already been synonymous with inline-6. If Toyota will sell a 4-banger with the MkV, it will be the very first 4-cylinder...
I wonder...if Toyota just wanted the new Supra to have an inline-6 engine, then why would they utilize BMW’s inline-4 as well; not use their own inline-4 engine, if rumors are to be believed.

Chief engineer Tetsuya Tada said(check the link above) price of the Supra will be “acceptable”. What does “acceptable” pricing mean? For sure it will be cheaper than the Z4; but how much cheaper is the question....and...
Try to listen to the exhaust note of the BMW Z4
Sounds a bit different as compared to the Supra. Both cars sound great; but I love the Supra’s more.
6 cylinder for me. It’s smoother and more balanced. I’m going Supra mainly because of the straight 6. For me, it’s what makes the Supra a Supra. It’s the true heart and soul of the Supra. But I would also consider the 4 cylinder....only if they’ll offer it with manual transmission.
Who said I’m not old enough to drive? I have my license for more than a decade already. I wouldn’t be here if I’m not seriously considering getting a Supra. :respect:
1. Will you buy the 2020 Supra as soon as you can? Or will you wait for the 2021? (Or later)
-ASAP if budget permits.
2. What color combination will you get?
-White/Silver exterior coupled with red interior will do
3. What will you use your car for primarily? (Daily driving? Weekend? Track?)...
Battery engineers are focusing on their r & d that will most likely end up mass producing solid state batteries that will most likely replace lithium ion batteries. Solid state batteries have higher density and will be more safe and efficient than lithium ion batteries. It will not contain...
So, the new MkV could be an evolutionary(as well as revolutionary) from the MkIV.
Here’s why:
-MkV is shorter than MkIV
-MkV is wider than MkIV
-MkV is taller than MkIV
-MkV has shorter wheelbase than MkIV
-MkV is lighter than MkIV
-MkV has only 2-seat configuration while MkIV has 2+2
-MkV will...
Bob Carter, President of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. said they are coming back to the Detroit Auto Show in a big way. They will be unveiling the all-new Supra at the Auto Show, as well as the Lexus RC F Track Edition, which they claim to be the fastest and most powerful car ever made by Lexus...
Gauge cluster has that retro feel while also adopting to new tech. Though I do hope they follow what Porsche did with the new 992; everything in the gauge cluster is all screen but the giant tachometer in the middle still has physical needle.
