Toyota said that the Supra is a car for the driver, which means there should be driver involvement all over. Yes, there’s driver involvement with an automatic; but definitely not as pure as to how a manual car offers.
If the automatic version has a seat for a man and another seat for a woman, it would be great for cuddling. But when the manual version comes out, it would mean all business.
With the Nissan GT-R, the Skyline was used to be known for its twin-turbocharging. But unlike before that it utilized inline-6, it moved to a V6 layout.
The Supra, on the other hand, had inline-6 turbo since the very first generation, even until now.
The NSX, the 1st-generation was just a...
Yes, the new Supra is considered bang for the buck if we consider inflation. But i think it’s hard to assume that way since it was not on sale for almost 20 years. Many things have changed and the improvement of the new Supra from the older one is very slight. The GTR’s price was also cheaper...
The price increase over generation on the Supra and GT-R(from Skyline R34) are acceptable, while the NSX’s price almost doubled mainly due to its move from having a conventional engine to a hybrid powertrain. The NSX didn’t stick much to its tried and tested formula enthusiasts love.
Toyota Might Build a Supra Targa if There is Enough Demand...the same goes with the manual(which is for the driving pleasure) which was already said that they’ll build if there is enough demand. If Toyota won’t be making a manual, what more for a targa top?
Is it really an official Supa where Toyota allowed the aftermarket to mod it, or could it be they just bought parts and assembled everyhing to make it look like a proper Supra? Even the headlights are different.
Everything looks stripped off. Could be just the chassic and shell and nothing else.
Toyota has been bringing the red Supra to various auto shows worldwide, and car events too. The 1st actual previewed, driven by Toyota President & CEO Akio Toyoda was also red.
Usually, racing is synonymous with red.
Yes, definitely cool with Supra emblem
Hmm...well, previous generations of Z4’s had I4 so it’s still ok to have it now. Unlike the Supra, which was released as a performance-oriented version of the Celica. Supra tradition = I6. It should be the Celica that should receive the I4.
That’s good, though I hope they could have put more Supra branding onto the engine cover.
For me,
4 cylinder Supra is
6 cylinder Supra is
