With the engine off is there any lash/play in the gear linkage or gearstick? (Mine is very firm with no play at all.)

I'd be tempted to just contact Akrapovic customer services and see what they say. Mine had a failed valve and they sorted it under warranty. I know you didn't buy it new, but still worth a call/email rather than guessing. :)

Have you raised it with Michelin as a query? As you say, 20k is really good going - but I'd be concerned about the vibration. (Probably find out they engineered it like that deliberately to give an audible/feelable indicator of tyre wear! ? )

What is the date stamp on the tyres? Any other unusual behaviours from them?

All burbles belong in the bin! I'd recommend getting the ECU unlocked and then going with BM3, that will give you lots of options.

Akrapovic titanium silencer now refitted and working nicely, sounds absolutely glorious at high rpm on the A roads. (Will try and get a video of that when the weather is less crap!)
