It'll be the usual scenario in F1:
Change rules: One team is dominant, after 3 or 4 seasons the pack closes, racing is close and the championship is exciting...so we stick with the next planned set of technical reg changes and go round the whole loop again.
At least in the Mercedes powertrain...
Upton Bridge Farm shop, always an exeptional gathering - if you are ever in the South West of the UK on a sunday morning then make it a priority to get there.:bow:
Finally got out of the lane in the fun cars this weekend, (it's been flooded most days since early Feb) and went to the Piper Trimmers event on the 9th, and to Upton Bridge Farm Cars & Coffee on the 10th.
As usual an amazing mix of cars, I was even able to persaude Mrs Brett to get her Carrera...
Can't beat the old shopping list on the side of the car!
I'm sure I remember seeing an S13 where someone had used the HKS, Brembo & NISMO fonts - but it actually read: Bread, Milk, Eggs, Flour
?
Interesting, I have only ever experienced the CDV issue on 1st to 2nd, the other changes, (up and down shifts) are fine.
I wonder why no two manuals seem to behave the same?
From the early 90s...Great Naval Battles of the North Atlantic, (rolls off the tongue!) Wing Commander 2 & Red Alert.
Synidcate 2, and Syndicate Wars were great too.
More recently? World of Warships, MW2, (first time around) and Crackdown.
I'd be tempted to just contact Akrapovic customer services and see what they say.
Mine had a failed valve and they sorted it under warranty.
I know you didn't buy it new, but still worth a call/email rather than guessing.
:)
Have you raised it with Michelin as a query?
As you say, 20k is really good going - but I'd be concerned about the vibration. (Probably find out they engineered it like that deliberately to give an audible/feelable indicator of tyre wear! ? )
Akrapovic titanium silencer now refitted and working nicely, sounds absolutely glorious at high rpm on the A roads. (Will try and get a video of that when the weather is less crap!)
